He used to have a practice in Newry, not sure if he's still there or not. We used to get him to check the dogs over and he's very thorough. It became very hard to get him as he was doing a lot of seminars all over the world.

So you don't know the reason Extreme lurcherwork makes these prices, feck all to do with the content. Where do i state i don't know the reason? Its alot to do with the content. Like i said, if your pockets don't go deep enough you know what you can do ... The content of the book isn't the reason either mate, it's the scarcity, it wasn't reprinted. If my pockets were deep I wouldn't be able to reach the money that was in them. I've already said the books not overpriced lt, so best of luck selling it.

Sire- 3/4 Greyhound X 1/4 Collie. Dam-Whippet X 3/4 Greyhound/ 1/4 Collie. So I think that gives him 3/16th Collie.

Blue is now 5 months and stands at 20.5", here's a video and some pics of his progress. Retrieving. Jumping. Getting him used to water. Investigating.

I get £3 a rabbit and the lads will take any amount. Also get £2 a rabbit at the local hotel but they only take 6 a fortnight and i've got to gut and skin them. -
not haveing a go mate hope you get £70 for it but i think a lad got band for seling books on here cos he was profeting from it You saying someone got banned for selling books. £70 doesn't seem to be over the top, they can make a lot more on ebay.

Bit of a contradiction there mate. Whole rabbits are "gut in". You're right though, they will look better on rabbit than biscuit. I fed them anything I had at the time, rabbits, birds, fish, eggs etc.

Nice looking dog mickmck it's growing fast, can remember it was only 20" 3 weeks ago so it's had a good spurt upwards.

best way to train a lab to retrieve

Get a book by a well known gundog trainer and have a good read through it, I'd recommend anything written by Joe Irving especially "Gundogs their learning chain" and "Training spaniels". -
what age would you teach a dog to jump

I've lost count of the number of adult dogs i've seen that run up and down a fenceline because they won't jump . So it's not allways the case that they'll start when they're ready. I still maintain the best way is to start them young and low, it's allways worked for me. -

Good reply. I put boards across the gateway into the garden, started low and gradually increased them. Everytime the pup goes for a walk he has to jump them, they soon learn. -

There's Saluki, Greyhound and Whippet in the mix but not sure which way, Prefabs will know.
