Anybody watching the darts on the bbc? If so what do you make of the commentators, surely the worst commentators i've ever heard, i'd rather watch it with the volume off than listen to the dross they talk. Last night one of them dropped a right clanger, during one of the games the cameraman zoomed in on Tony O'shay who was sitting in the audience having just won his match. He is known as "silverback" and has a soft toy monkey as a mascot, when O'shay noticed the camera on him he started patting the mascot. What do you think one of the commentators said? Had another go for the grayling today, must say I found it hard going. Only got the three grayling and lost a few more, the best stretched to 43cm. It felt warm here today, it was zero degrees which was a big temp rise compared to Mondays minus 8. But when the sun started to slide behind the Keir hills it was time to head for the car.

It doesn't with all dogs mate, some have nails that sprout like mushrooms and it wouldn't matter how much road work you gave them you'd still have to give them a trim now and then.

I never liked the guillotene type clippers, found I couldn't see were I was cutting. Have used the clippers in the link below for years on both greyhounds and lurchers and have had no problems. http://www.petsathom...-by-mikki-15572

I had my first grayling trip of the season today. As I drove the 3 miles to the car park I was begining to think I was mad, the temperature gauge in the car was showing minus 8 degrees: and that was at 12.15pm Not to be deterred I parked up at Kirkbog and got tackled and wrapped up. I was fishing a brammie worm with the float, didn't do too well but at least I didn't blank. Here's some pics from today. The Cample. Got this hungry troot aswell. Looking towards Camplefoot.

Would that not work the other way sky08 ? The peddlers would be more interested in buying cheap pups and selling them on for a profit, there would be less profit in dear pups. Hope you get homes for the pups Decky.

The moon was full last night so the next few nights will be a waste of time unless we get some rough weather. The moon rises approx 50 minutes later each night so by next week it won't be up untill late [midnight] so you'll be able to get out early and lamp before it rises.
