  1. moll your cat is a pet, as a pet you feed him/her, hence it doesn't have to need to kill to stay alive, if you stopped feeding it and it turned ferral then you would notice a dramatic increase in its seasonal bird numbers. nobody on here does kill or intend to kill peoples pets(I HOPE) BUT ferral cats are vermin and should be controlled the same as fox, rat magpie ect. an uncontrolled cat population are lethal to an area as the have such good hunting technicques. plus they have no natural predators as such so they are top of the food chain. a strong dog fox may chance his arm and ive watched o
  2. horses are funny fuk**s, i have a few but one that i whip in hounds with and constantly has hounds aroundhim, under him, behind him and banging off him, but when i put him out in the field and take the dogs through it 9 of of 10 times he will act the maggot and chase the dogs and try jump on them, i think its just a teritorial thing or summit. i dont know. but a kick from one can and will do serious damage so id get him checked out if he's not himself. atb
  3. ive read the post a few weeks back about the owner of lucas turning down 10k, the lads that offered that kinda twine obviously knew their stuff and obviously saw somthing in that dog to value him at that money, (if it was genuinely offered) so at 750 a shot id be presuming only top bitches would be brought to him, so if the pups turned out nearly as good as the sire surely their value would be alot higher than 750quid. plus if the right bitch is brought to him im sure the man with the 10k would prop be interested seen as he couldn't get the dog, (he could buy 10 pups at a grand each and im sur
  4. easist thing in the world to break a dog to a cat, its just some lads chose not to for there own reasons. 6. this charger should charge it in theory mate, if you take off the lid ott the batt box you will see the two terminals on the top of the batt, id personally put on two spade connectors and two short pieces of cable and attact to the poles of the battery and leave it out through tho port where the charger goes, i.e take that out first, so you left with two short wires with spade connectors hanging out of the back of the lamp, then go down to halfords or someplace like that and ask them for the lowest ampage 12volt batt carger they have, the slower the charger the longer the batt will last(lifet

  8. a fully charged 12volt batt will read over 12volts on a volt meter, if it is below 12 its knackered, sounds to me like the charger just aint workin, your lamp should light when plugged into the mains charger if the charger is working correctly, if you get a short piece of wire and rub it accross the two poles you should get a light spark, if you do your batt is still fine, if no signs of arcking then its bet im afraid mate.
  9. I probably won't mate her; I've never bred a litter in almost 45 years of owning running dogs, BUT.. If I was to, I wouldn't introduce another breed into the line; so would probably go against the current THL line of thinking and use a top class Greyhound, or a 1/4 beddy 3/4 grey or a 1/4 Deer 3/4 Grey ! Cheers. great minds think alike eh! i think you should definitly break the mould and breed off her, and send a pup over this way and we could compare notes on how they gettin on!!! on a serious note a good 3/4 breed beddy or deerhound grey should in my opinion bring up your hei
  10. hows it goin chartpolski, your going lining the bitch i want!!! how about putting her to somthing like a 3/4 bred deer grey or 3/4 beddy grey? even a full coursing hound should bring some nice pups, what are you thinking out of curiosity??
  11. it may not damage the batt if it says14volt output, there are several types of batt charger available, trickle charge, constant volvate, constant ampae ect, an altenator charging a batt has to read 14.4 volts or else it wont charge the batt.... depends on what tyre of chargeing method it uses mate.
  12. apparently a cat out on its own goes ferral after two weeks. i.e totally self sufficient, so look at what it kills everyday to feed itself... when im out hunting or lamping and come accross one i always let slip, i dont lamp near anywhere near houses so i class them as ferral and a pest/vermin. dogs put a big tom cat up a tree when out mooching, when the dogs were baying up at the tree i went in under for a look up and the dirty fu**er pi**ed down on top of me!!! naedless to say that tree got a fair shakin!!! cant stand cats.
  13. watched it anway folks, i dont think it done us any great harm, if anything it showed the way its organised and controlled properly, well put together by the lads involved i thought. there were only two times when i said "WANKER", that was when the queer lad from the anti's got interviewed and that tosser gormley came on, luckily he's gone now, no harm. the polish one with the hamster made a bit of a tit of herself!!! all in all went well imo.
  14. hows it goin alan, yea wont do us any favours, ive it setup to record it cause i'll be workin nights tomorrow. saw the preview for it, should be an interesting watch! atb
  15. by the sounds of it (pole dancing) ya wont need any lamp, the bunnies ya reffering to are now out in a glow in the dark version!!! :boogie: leave the whippet at home tho cause he def be shy if he sees that caper goin on!!! kepp up the good work
  16. haha. thats the testosterone talkin that is!!! get off that stuff mate!! they brough out a little blue pill called vi**ra for that job mate!! never had the need to try it, think its really only ment for impotant old men that cant get a stiffy for themselves!!! and if they do get one if they touch it they destroy themselves cause their lil ole hands are shakin so much!!! :toast: im only takin the p**s mate! my little missus only gets depressed after ive been out all night lamping and she doesn't get her bit of slap n tickle the good old fashioned "RED BLOODED MALE" way!!! she aint into
  17. Creatine is a naturally occurring energy source found in meat, it's not really a drug, more like a nutrient. cheers mate always believed it was some sort of steriod but like i said wasnt sure no not a drug...found in beef. the muscles use it for short, explosive bursts of power..so by supplementing with it your muscles can get them extra reps needed for growth and strength improvment. and all this piss taking about steroids..by no means give them to a dog but if people are training and eatining properly why not introduce steroids for the extra advantage. some people like to look goo
  18. i have just got a pup with pretty similar breeding mate, sire is deer grey beddy grey and dam is 7/8grey 1/8collie, parents are very good workers, i worked a similar cross a few years ago and loved it as an allrounder, im hoping this new broken coated racey bitch will be similar, will take some pics and put them up of her.
  19. i excercise mine with the quad a fair bit, loads of farmers round here have roads through their farms and i drive round them with the dogs jogging behind, dont run em flat out behind it tho as there are a few things that could go wrong, nice handy jogging does the trick and they love it.
  20. not a bother........ out of curiosity wat ya upto sat nite????? :whistling: as said before get onto sumone local to ya and they will take ya under their wing and show yy the ropes, the best way by far to get into the game, as you get confident so will you dog....

  23. we're not all bad mate!! i do a bit of everything but respect for the land, land owner, and countryside is first and foremost in any field sport. whatever about years ago i know alot of local lads that are into lurchers are very well off and far from the bottom of the pecking order......ikeep lurchers and shoot but i fall into neither catagory as im always skint!! atb,
