  5. i dont know james, its a hard one to call, i know jonny85, he doesn't live a million miles from me so it almost definitly sombody that knows both of us. The lowest of the low would be on the beer christmas day and stevens's day and thats when ours were lifted so its one sneaky b*****d that done us. the lad i have in mind would know of both of us and is more than capeable of it. I know where he moves dogs onto and have lads looking into it so we just have to wait and see. thanks for the reply's lads. fingers crossed.
  6. no joy with my dogs so far, head still hoppin.think we might have a bit of a lead, not positive so cant accuse anyone yet but alot of boxes could be ticked by one dealer i know of. Its a waiting game at this stage.just wait for a slip up.
  7. cheers mudd, the older bitch is identicle to the the one in the first two pics, genuinely couldn't tell one from the other. the pup isn't bothering me too much as i have the sire and a friend has the bitch so can cross again if no joy getting them back but the older one is out of a bitch that is gone past breeding off, wont get that cross again and id to be honest i wont even try if i dont get her back, loosin faith in the game with the time and effort that goes into rearing them for sum prick to come in and walk off with them. makes you wonder...cheers again bud and happy new year,
  8. cheers lads, thanks for the reply's. i often said it must be rotten to have your dogs stolen but i can tell ya that you wouldn't realise till its done to you how hard it hits ya. i can tell ye i hit an all time low. i spread the word about them and tried a few places that are likely spots for them to be but no go. all i can do is keep my ear to the ground and fingers crossed.
  9. cheers felix, i dont think they are gone a million miles away, tried alot of places in clonmel today and saw alot of dogs but none of mine unfortunatly. Ive been waiting ages to try the bitch and she was slow to come on, i tried her christmas eve and she flew in and stayed. dug to her and proud as punch. day after she gets lifted! I dug on my own and nobody knew about her, just rotten timing.
  10. not the exact dogs but pic 1 and 2 are exact replica's of my 18month old bitch, and the 3 is very similar to the pup but without the white on the chest. both almost identicle tho. Attached Thumbnails

  14. Posted Today, 08:09 PM had two black patterdale bitches stolen from my yard yesterday/last night. A 7 month old home bred handy black bitch pup and a nutall bred 18 month old smooth coat black bitch, very lightly marked as she is only just starting to be entered. went out this morn and pen gate open and the two gone. left lurcher and other tarriers but the others would bite and im presuming thats the only reason they were left. please lads keep an eye out and let me know if you hear anything.I know its a bad thing putting up a reward but i will give a good reward for any info. I dont sell

  16. If they are going to speak they will if with other dogs in full cry. Always exceptions and dog generally do tend to make a liar of of ya! but with alot of beagle blood in there it would be unusual for it not to. Experimet and keep it on the lead and let the other dogs hunt and see how keen it is, most would be pulling on the lead, squeal like mad and give tongue out of frustration to try goin the hunt.
  17. i find if you run a quite dog with other dogs that give tongue they usually pick it up, unfortunatly some do stay mute! most will join in in giving tongue if they hunting strong.
  18. harrier in my opinion, foxhound better to mark ground and more laid back type of dog. hunt with a pack of harriers at the moment and wouldn't rate any of the foxhound packs even close to them. just my opinion!
  19. one or two dirty dogs... what difference if they are dirty. ONE HOLE + ONE FOX = GOOD RESULT. Ali had a young dog out, maybe he gave him a look in a pocket after he lifted the first, maybe not.surely this is at his own discretion. I would have lifted one and gave the pup a look for definate.I know when im trying to bring on a young dog i show them as many stops as i can before i dig to them and any good terrier man i know is the same. Which or weather its his own business and he need not write a step by step account of the dig, he is simply sharing his photo with us. well done mate. Two dogs i
  20. hows it going lads, i hunt beagles on fox only. had a pack of 10couple up untill the end of last season. down sized now to five as i am hunting full time with a local mounted pack of harriers and dont have the time for the whole lot! i'll try put up picks of the ones i kept. serious sport when they find a fox in cover, will run them to ground most of the time and mark ground like foxhounds. i ran them with the harriers during the cubbing and they most often spoke first in cover and were the first to mark to groung once they put to ground, often put lines right when the harriers over ran a line
  21. hows it going, could you post up a pic or two? id be interested in the clippers mate.
  22. tried to pm you mate, no joy.
