    Tomo, with tongue in cheek, you only breed a dog for the ground you run, a wee bit of collie a bit of saluki, but you need a dog that has the gears to get up to his quarry, and do his job, ((( what ever may be in the mix, and you have to be able to control, the dog, we only have cabbage patches up here, a Fen dog would be lost, on the cabbage patch, especially the ones I saw on some of the videos this year, in a nutshell, breed a dog that is suitable for the type of Land that you are going to run most frequently, Spot on Border Lad - some of the fields I run are no bigger than 5 acres, surroun

    Once watched a documentary on folk shooting canned big cats in Africa - just awful. The cats were strolling up and down the fence and were being shot by rich Americans and Europeans. Left me with a kinda sick feeling...

    Wouldn't feed Chappie at all - better with a few tins of sardines/mackerel - with pasta/bread/veg.... I mix the complete in with the raw/veg/pasta etc... They have fish and oily fish tins, pasta etc normally anyway, but for the odd day when I have had a blonde moment and not taken stuff out of the freezer, 3 large tins of chappie fills a gap in 5 lurchers - is cheap, easily stored, and just for emergencies ! Fair comment Blonde moment
