    Has anyone ran or runs this X at the moment - 3/4 collie 1/4 greyhound...? I have ran collies on the lamp successfully in the past on rabbits and foxes and have hunted collies daytime to foxes too...be good to get your thoughts on this x as a lamping, ferreting and daytime hunting dog...any pics would be a bonus and appreciated... Thanks Colin.

    Ha ha ha this'll be John H's new account... And for what it's worth I enjoyed Plummer's books. When I was a young laddie growing up Plummer, along with Walsh, Drabble, Sheardown, and some past authors including Lucas, Sparrow, Russell to name one or two provided a varied insight into the hunting and fieldsports world from a historical standpoint. To suggest Plummer was the only worthy author producing books of this sort, as John H seems to allude to, is silly. I enjoyed his work especially Tales of an Artisan Hunter, Rat Hunting Man, Omega, Hunters All, Cottage at the End of the World...an

She not keen on my lump the pup, mind you if he jumps up you and he as on her ,its like feckin log hitting you How's the pup doing Ray - stick a recent pic up? ok colin , he his trying it on mate, he decided he dont want any recall just stands there and dont want to know. It might be is age now just gone 7 months old . Put him through it for good 6-7 mins, he is as stubborn bugger going to give him more lead work+ training no new pics get this sorted 1st might later on pics pm you in 5

    Just as I said above - this f****r signed the dogs over and was given a silly wee fine and was still allowed to keep animals... f***ing beyond me...

    Chances are they were let off with a caution if they agreed to sign the dog over...listened to a radio prog yesterday and that seems to be the way it works in a lot (tho not all) cases. Diabolical way to treat a dog though eh? Hope the poor thing got a 'forever' home and owners it deserves...but the sad fact is a lot of these people aren't dealt with...
