  1. Here's a good sized rucksack - you'll get more than a few bunnies in this one - he looks chuffed with himself eh????
  2. imo your first sentence is wrong. ive seen some damn good dogs that whimper abit on some runs, they have also put alot of game away time after time away through out there life time. Bit of a difference between a dog "whimpering a bit on some runs" as you put it and something screaming its head off running a fence line on hedgerow...the bitch I posted about fell into this category...I couldn't put up with a dog that did this...no matter how much game it was stiffening...
  3. Is it always?, nature or nurture is the question? I would say a good bit of both Aye bit of both - I know a lad who has a beddy x dog and when it was young it would yap? Terrier in the mix???
  4. Yodelling - good way of describing it -
  5. How the f**k did this topic become one of Whin breeding yappers? Or that he bred a dud dog? Sure he ain't ever only bred one but what that has to do wi yappers is beyond me!!! Was a simple subject - and a simple question!!! Would you keep a yapper or not...
  6. First lurcher I bought - more than 35 years ago - was supposed to be a beddy x whippet - collie x grey bitch 12 months old advertised in our local Fine Fare supermarket - paid £20 for it from the local cammo clad Fred Rolfe wannabe ("f***ing great bitch this son - one of the best I've had" - ha ha how gullible was I?) I spent a week finding the parts and cobbling together an old motorbike battery and a headlamp and 'borrowing' a charger and armed with good advice from Plummer's Complete Lurcher (weren't we all) set out to murder the entire Border's bunny population. Never been more exc

  9. You know for 100% fact the krays had sex with children ?.....if your not being swayed by films or malicious gossip etc then wow you must of been at the heart of the inner circle to know that information.....and if you was why didnt you stop it ! Ha that's funny Gnasher - like Ronnie Kray would listened to someone trying to put a stop to to his deviant boy thing???? Doubt it - didn't he pop Cornell for calling him a "fat poof" - it seems to be accepted as fact that RK had a penchant for boys!!!!

  15. Load of shit - even if he wanted t implement all of the 'new clampdown measures' he wouldn't get away with it - Europe would see to that! It's a psychological con trick designed to give the impression that he's with us on the immigration thing...nothing more nothing less - dramatic soundbytes which ain't gonna work...not sure history will remember Cameron as much of a PM to be honest...think of this though - when they're booted out in 2015 what the f**k is the alternative...scary stuff!!!!!!!
  16. I'm thinking they'd be mad no matter what they were fed. Used to feed sheeps' heads two or three times a week in the good old less regulated days...got them for 5p each from local killing house...used to split them for terrier pups...used to thrive on it...
  17. Me too - heading West.... Nesbit = Knob...
  18. Like the clip on carriers - good idea that!!!
  19. When they are grafting hard through the winter I feed high protein completes - with meat, fish, pasta, and veg. Throughout the summer I feed less protein as they are on holiday so to speak - not into showing or lure racing so mines don't have to be fit through the summer..rest and recuperation for a few months. I don't think you can keep a dog properly fit all year round - like athletes they need to be 'let down' to repair...seems to work for me...
