  1. What's up with you lot, I thought I'd of had the piss ripped out of me by now.....your slipping.
  2. Got one here, he works cover very well and will work below but I don't use him for that.
  3. You lost me whith that one Zerky, it's either to deep for me or you've been drinking
  4. I got excited FM, I've sorted it out for you, the English language never was my strong point.
  5. Is this a good thing or a bad thing ? I'm just an opinionated twat mate, you'll get used to it.
  6. You can't put in what God left out, and I've always said "the best of the best are in a different league from day one, regardless of the obstacles you put in front of them including the owner"
  7. Don't know if you'll make them out but there's 9 terriers in the kitchen taking in the log fire :-)
  8. Get the spare bed made up Zerky, I want putting on the best spot, I'll bring it some salmon.
  9. JD I don't doubt you've seen them or studied them, but to make the presumption they're at plague proportion and are definitely at pest levels is as daft as me saying there isn't any because I didn't see one catching the bus today. One thing I can tell you is I've been in the field since I was 15 years old and I've never seen one. I've lamped for years and guess what, I've never seen one. Like I said earlier, I've got other things to worry about these days so I'll leave it at that, have a very good day.
  10. You must be thousands of years old JD, what with work, digging, lurchers and so on I don't know how you do it. As others have said anything in the wrong place is a pest. The fisheries have my sympathy but after my lifetime of having little or no Otter in the UK I personally think they deserve a break until they're genuinely the pest you say. And yes given half a chance I'd work my dogs to one and be happy for the chance, it doesn't have to follow that I'd kill it at the end though.
  11. We'll just have to disagree again JD, if I saw anyone tapping one they'd be having a tap straight after.
  12. I've never had the pleasure of seeing one in it's natural state but I live in hope. I've seen signs of them in Shropshire but again I never came face to face with one and I could never see the day where I'd consider harming one. Funny that, all these blood thirsty terriermen and not a one that would see any harm to an otter, perhaps the real people on the ground can see when an animal GENUINELY needs protection and admiration.
  13. I'm black. !! well yes I'm hung like a donkey and think I'm seven foot tall and six foot across lol
  14. And yes. ......not before time and it should of finished me off. I feel like I've been robbed of a good death, no pain, no suffering and I'd of had an earner out of it at the same time.
  15. Broke my neck twice and back once C2 C4 and L5, I'll be in charge of the flask from now on in. I'm just grateful I came away walking mate. It gives you a different perspective on life and all the bickering on here :-)
  16. I'll come whenever you ask but I think my digging days are gone, I'm just going to sit on here all day every day being the biggest baddest internet warrior that ever drew breath.
  17. My thoughts exactly Neil, in thirty + years of owning working terriers I've never seen any Bedlington doing anything that could loosely be classed as work. I await your reply Topper lol.........
  18. What a f****n stupid statement, how many of us would cut our own arms off to get our kids back or give our own lives in exchange. It doesn't take away from the fact most police are lying pieces of shit who I'd like to see dead and buried.
  19. I'm sick of hearing about these secret terrier men that no one knows, who the f**k are these super men ? Everyone in this game knows everyone else, be they up and coming or top of the tree. There's no mythical creature that hides in the shadows sneaking about digging holes we could only dream of with dogs we'll never be fortunate enough to own. Of course I'll be wrong and not in a place high enough on any ladder to know said creatures but I can live in hope.
  20. Border for me, I can't see me ever taking the plunge but I've always likes them from a far. I started with Russells and I wouldn't write them off ever coming back to my yard, I gave a very tidy bitch best in show last year in Wales, she was everything I'd like in a russell and it killed me not to try and tap it of the owner.
  21. Thats the best advice yet marshman, the worrying thing here is no one has mentioned the terriers welfare in all of this. If it was as simple as digging a hole every muppet would be a world beater.
  22. Boring and made up nonsense, I thought more of your imagination than that foxbolter and you know my yard so I'm not biting just letting you know your literature stinks.
  23. Put the soil back in and if your short take any spoil heaps and make sure to mound it up higher than it was before you started, then put the sods back on. Sticks and logs for deeper digs was the way I was taught but it's a shit way that more often than not sinks or falls through, hence the terrible state some old earths are in from your "good old ways"
  24. No difference for a terrier man pre ban or otherwise, a few more hoops to jump through but we're still digging and hounds are still ttail hunting.
