How much will you sell the spare pups for?.If you breed from terrier stock that won,t go to ground it is shite breeding,if you had posted about a Black terrier,a lakey/fell or a russel this site would have been all over you like a rash on a cheap whores monkey,because it is about a Bedlington many on here find it acceptable that you wish to breed bushers from failures.Again don,t breed from what you have,rather than produce another litter of shite source yourself something more fitting to your hunting lifestyle.A beagle/terrier or spaniel/terrier mutt will serve you far,far better,take off the

Where is digging illegal around you?.The bitching starts when somebody looks for a worthless stud to further their kennel,a kennel not worth breeding out of.My advice is to source a proper bred working pup and use it as you wish,if that entails only ratching about for rodents thats your choice and i wish you well with that, a proper bred pup will ratch about with far more purpose than a failure and is then worth breeding from if you so desire,a Beddy that is bred from shite stock will later breed more shite in another kennel.Therefore my advice is not to breed from what you have and if you are

3 1/2 days,mind you he was stuck under an awful lot of rock.They stay until the fox bolts or they are dug to,that may take a few minutes or several hours.We always attempt to let the terrier do the work and try not to interfere,a dog we have here we have to get the shovel to as he quickly kills a reluctant bolter.

Ive owned black terriers and its certainly a fact of life now that the majority of black terriers are a far more reliable option than the majority of Beddys about now.If you fail to comprehend the reasoning between poor breeding practice and a decline in working function,in any terrier,then ill leave you to your black terrier Nirvana.The reason i won,t own another black terrier is mainly because they are not the terrier they once where,again poor kennel management and the pursuit of the dollar,plus the Beddy mongrels have proven themselves to better suit my hunting lifestyle.

The main reason for the decline in the Bedlington is folk wanting to line terriers fit only for rodent work.A Bedlington that is not an earth dog is not fit to be a stud dog.

I did not hate and can only find solace with anybody that attempts to put graft in front of any jukel,yet ive never understood the need for collars that are more of an hinderance,thats either a fecking overkill collar or a tiny terrier,throw the fecking collar in the bin and let the mutt work less restricted,or is it protection?.

Every bone man ive witnessed in the last decade or two as written off a multitude of jukels that have managed to carry on regardless of their injuries.My lads dog was written off recently and it managed well enough with a limp a week later.

Ive owned a few and i wish i had my time again to own a few more,many of us where about when this type of lurcher was readily available and a few of us have a fondness for what they brought and bring to the kennel.Its a sad reflection of the lurcherworld now that this type of lurcher slipped from popularity as standards and traditions dropped.This type was a lurchermans lurcher and the popular lurcher types now are a better reflection of the era we live in and a truer type of lurcher is no longer really appreciated now.

All terriers come into their own at different stages,a pup at 7 months of age id readily expect to be driven enough to show serious interest in what the owner puts in front of it,at 14 months the mutt should be flying.The majority of Beddys now are only fit to chase rodents about and if you keep at it,encourage them by getting them amidst the conies on a regular basis then the mutts should soon learn to switch on and show a tad more passion.

Ive never seen the hunt terriermen astride an horse,the odd quad and 4+4 perchance,the servile foot-followers with their flat caps and Whippets are also less horsey than some.There is an honest enough perception that mounted hunt packs are for the more gentrified above us? and thats a fecking fact,the bigger fact is an hunt could not hunt without the plebs,im one of the plebs that believes im more important than the equestrian huntsfolk.

Ill run a pup all summer to get it up to spec and not bat an eyelid at folk that do the same,ill turn every dirty and sneaky trick in the book,and scripture not fit for print,to get a young jukel ahead of its ambition.What i draw a line at is folk that accept an adult mutts purpose in the same sentence as a pups.Anybody,in my mind,that seeks solace for an 18 month old mutt in late March and folk that sit comfortable with that i find a tad uncomfortable with.The lads been a lazy twat for over 6 months.
