Not really workable.. Cant afford tax + insurance on 4x4 and irish laws are complicated enough with where you can park a caravan... And laws on towing... Camper is what im going for
-
5k is my max... Need a fixed double bed and shower/toilet... Bit of room for 2 lurchers.... The ideal van would also have a built in garage for a motorbike but I doubt an affordable one will turn up Has to be suitable for driving on b licence and have doe.... Long shot I know

See thats my problem rob... Want something I can live in and drive bout once a week to shops... Im not mechanically minded and that would need a bigass tow truck if shit hits the fan, im not gonna have money to fix it if it goes badly wrong either

Dont know if it can be driven on car license which may be a problem. In near future I am going buying a camper to live in for couple years, with my dogs and ferrets in tow... Need to find the right camper... Link I posted is top end of my budget as well.. Anyone have any advise for me? Needs to be big enough for me + 3dogs and I need to be able drive it as could possibly be hitting europe for a few months next year... Or even longer

Poaching... Victimless crime as long as fencing and livestock and keepered pheasants aint touched, weed shouldnt be illegal... Ive yet to meet anyone who smokes pot whos a badun... More folk hospitalised, more crimes commited from alcohol abuse Theres plenty of areas that aint black and white... If I bought some antiques at a carboot for example and sold them on to collectors im technically breaking the law as im not paying tax on these items... If I make some homemade poitin and sell it im a criminal, if I bring a bit of baccie over from spain and sell it im a criminal The law is an ass

Just couldn't be arsed with a dog like that....would do my head in....20 months and still unpredictable with stock...you've basically failed there eh??? Never had a problem breaking any of mine to stock...how hard can it be to break dogs to sheep and other farm animals...maybe the clue is in the title of the OP's thread and maybe it's an Irish thing.....beyond me... Hes been around stock since 8wks... Another dog taught him some bad habits and once he picks up a bad habit it takes forever to undo... I will get there with him.. Perhaps you just give up too easily when you run into a pr -

I can have him freerunning around stock and hes fine but then he will get a notion in his head to upset them and chase them around the field a couple of laps. Doesnt matter how many times I walk past them on the lead he ignores them when under close control he takes the piss altogether if someone else is handling him instead of me. his recall otherwise is fairly good -

How much saluki is in him? and what age most young salukis or saluki sarurated dogs will throw you a deaf one some worse than others but eventually you reach an understanding they will run and chase and come back this is where the owners patience is the key to give them time . He will be 20mths in september id have him out now doing a bit but cant trust that he wont all of a sudden decide to chase the dairy cows on the farm where my best bit of permission is... Hes lucas x garfs ruby so fairly well saluki saturated wouldnt know where to start figuring out how much salukis in him -
Depends what the 1trick is... And a few other factors but id take a look at the dog

Hes only a c**t!

A necessity in some cases... If it means the difference between dead stock or a dead dog I will use it when everything else has failed. But only then. -

If my dog isnt 100% with livestock then he wont be worked this season... I dont need the reputation or the greif and I dont want to drain my savings to pay for injured or fallen stock. Hes 90% at minute but still fucks about sometimes Ordered a training collar as back up if he goes deaf on me again. Ive put in extra time and training but by the time season starts my shop will hopefully be opening so I will have less time on my hands so would prefer to just craic on with working him
