  1. If you’re happy with your dog is all that counts.
  2. If all types of quarry for Lurchers were still legal, I would go for a coursing type or something with some coursing blood in the mix only because in my opinion the odds of getting a decent one that could catch a bit of everything edible whether daytime or lamping are slightly more stacked in my favour.
  3. Their heads might be empty, but their pockets are full of money.
  4. Looks like you’ve dropped on mate. Nice one for taking a chance and hope it works out for the dog.
  5. Cracking looking pups, right up my street. Im sure they will all come good with a lot of work and a bit of luck. All the best with them.
  6. Do you know if he treated them or changed their diets or did they just get over it on their own? Sorry for all the questions just interested.
  7. I’m no expert in testicles apart from owning 2 , but isn’t there a chance of cancer even when they have dropped?
  8. Didn’t some of the other pups have hair loss issues, could you get in touch with any of the owners for some feedback?
  9. I’m possibly a bit soft, but isn’t it a bit early to consider culling? Maybe the condition might get the correct diagnosis and be treated successfully.
  10. They look a tidy dog to be fair.
  11. I had never heard of one until this morning, I had to google also.
  12. Anyone running a Pudelpointer based Lurcher? I’m not expecting many to be fair.
  13. Yes I have to admit it gives me ‘an enormous sense of well being” driving up to Dartmoor at first light walking round watching rabbits disappear time and time again ,driving back and feeding the dog the best raw grub money can buy and nothing to show for it apart from firm dog turds, what’s not to like?
  14. The more I think about It, it is more about how we feel than the dogs do imo. I switched to raw and guess what he’s still average to useless, it’s just easier picking his shit up.
  15. I’ve talked to a few farmers over the years who have working collies about the farm and not one of them feed BARF. They simply don’t have the time or inclination to mess about feeding that way when a few scoops out of a bag will suffice, and these dogs cover a lot of ground during a day and manage.
  16. I enjoyed the first series not seen the 2nd yet. My favourite fishing programmes where A Passion for Angling watched them many times really enjoyed them.
  17. Look good fish, what tactics did you use bread flake on the surface?
  18. Looks very stony ground, would like to see what their feet looked like after that run. They must be a tough breed.
