    box or collar could fail at anytime though how would you no if you aint done much digging because unlike you i aint stupid and know you can never rely on something that is electrical and is powered by batteries ever had this happen to you after checking your kit befor entering a dog ? Anything can happen when there under the ground,interference from power lines or the collar gets bit through which has happened me a couple of times.

    Did you not realise the bitch was in use,i had a lakeland bitch that would scale a 8ft chainlink fence to get to a dog when she was in use.Cant blame the mongeral you should have took more notice of your bitch,not having a go,and f**k me them vet charges are mad,its about 20euro here. fair comment mate i did know she was in use but my back was turned for less than 5 mins while i got some meat out the fridge.......and was the last thing i expected to happen especially in my yard that is hard enough for me to get into when ive locked myself out let alone a dog Ive often heard it said,sex

    When will everyone start for this coming season.We will start geting out in the next couple of weeks to get young terriers started,i know its still very warm but we cant change the weather.Then the older experienced dogs are out from september onwards.

    Box or collar can f**k up when the dog is in the ground through no ones fault.I have had collars bitten through and stop working.I once had a terrier to ground ride up beside a sub station and could get no signal at all,just constant tearing on the locator.I dug for many years without locator,would not dream of it now but would still like to think if it failed i could get to the terrier.

    I know the terriers i use will not give a fox respect so they wont mix it for long,if they get to it they will take hold and thats the end of it.I wont keep a bayer type,and i also think a terrier should be well capable of dealing with fox.As a very experienced terrier man said to me last week,the only reason a terrier bays a fox is that its afraid of it.Was he right,well would the same terrier bay at a rabbit or rat,i dont think it would so there has to be some logic to his theory.

    In all the shows ive been at through the years,kevs show last year and this year was the best turn out of working terriers i have ever witnessed at any show.Proper working dogs at a proper working show.Keep up the good work kevin and co.

They are a good animal at what they were bred for.I had 1 about 1984..85 out of p.kings rambo to a very game staff,hell of a dog to work. any pics of him fatman Dont do pics buddy,sorry,he was a broken coated light brindle with a head like a bucket,not the best about other dogs while in the yard but when he was in the field he was ok.

    I think most will make the trip as it is for a very good cause,and if kevs show was anything to go by there should be a good turn out of working dogs on view.

    I had a kerrybluexgh,very good on fox and bigger game,but he wanted to kill everything he seen,including people,when he had hold of a fox you would want your wits about you when trying to take it of him,lol he was a mad b*****d.

    Could be all down to what your feeding her,i find that meal or nuts do run them.I feed raw fresh tripe and red meat and they produce a good solid empty out everytime.
