busa is correct, and most time when out ferreting, theres more than one of you, and everything is covered by more than one set of eye's, its mainly the odd occassion, when ferreting for a customer on your own, that technology is a godsend, rather than the set of eyes in the back of my head

unless you buy very good quaility bells, like used in falconry, the type used on cat collars wont be heard, in a perfect world, all will be quite and your hear the bell as the ferret trots off into the hedgerow, but if you have more than one fert down, rabbits hitting nets, holes to re net, dashing over to a longnet, I dont think you'd hear the dangle/tinkle of a bell, a good quaility bell is gonna cost, so why not look into using a loca8tor in conjunction with your mk3, see the pinned popt at top of the ferreting section for pro's and cons

probably best to leave it there mate, as you see it all ONE SIDED, you think you have a right to slate the guy off on an open forum, yet you wont give him the chance to defend himself by ringing him up, in my eye's, thats a bit like calling someone names in the playground , but not to their face in case they have something to say back

run , no need to run millet, just get your best (not) mate up there, holding a normal torch, whilst you use one with a red filter, spray and watch them go for him -
to be honest, something like that, I think your being over worried on, Id keep an eye on it over the coming weeks, if it got bigger, or started ozzing, then by all means, get it to a vet,

tins of spray , ficam D, straight outta the pump sprayer -
we get given mouse and rat attractents to place inside bait stations, to draw the rodents into the box to feed, not really neccessary with mice, but as rats have a fear of new objects, it would be great if it worked, but cant say Ive ever had it give me better "takes"

early saturday morning, and we lost our broadband connection, so not only was we without "the hunting life", but I could'ent get onto call of duty 4 on the x box either countless phone calls to virgin, and being told there was a fault countless times by an indian call centre, had me nearly chucking the phone, this morning I told them in as plain an english as i could, with ALL the swears words i could think off, that I'd be cancelling my direct debit, hay presto, 6 hours later were back online
