  1. Just ring the estate, and ask, let them know you are a novice, they will run you through it in detail, if they are any good that is , there’s plenty of places that welcome novices, they will take you with the estate rifle, to make sure you are a competent shot, once they are happy, then they will take you for your first stalk,
  2. I have started to look at these, I think solway feeders stock them, they are coming down in price, they sell just the unit, for about £70 ish, I have a few shallow ponds, they have to be worth a stab, in time saving, wether in the long run you use more grain or not, https://www.solwayfeeders.com/poultry-game-feeders/atv-automatic-feeders/
  3. definitely, the thing is It worked, just normal underseal, all the traps that were treated, are catching all firing smoothly, so nothing lost,
  4. Good stalk Matt, good end to the day,
  5. Cheers I have a reach forward mount on the scope, and a picattinney on the 223. I was trying to make it mount the same way, write down the windage and elevation values, then the scope should be interchangeable, from rifle to rifle, well that was my plan,
  6. Can I ask, has anybody mounted a photon night vision unit, on a BSA Lightning, I picked one up the other day and think it’s spot on, nice small compact and powerful, it’s a tactical, and I gather there’s issues with the scope rail being, odd sized can I ask is there any picattiney adapters out there to fit these rails, or is there an option to change / upgrade the rail, any info would be good,
  7. I need a doubler for mine, let me know what you find mate, i have meant to get one for ages,

  11. Anyone know who Bethal Rhodes supply, as in traders
  12. Right I know most people won’t bother, when traps get old they will remove trigger wires, and some loops for spares, but I have been laid up with that bloody virus, and god makes work for bored idle hands, also I have taken another fare sized farm, some distance away from where I live, I decided to try and revive a few older traps, that to me were getting to the end of there usefull lives, I know people will talk about speed dip, and other trap treatments, that I can never find, anyone who has any stock at the time I want some, anyway some one once mentioned on here about useing underseal, last
  13. Cracking price of kit I have had mine, a few yr, dead handy, I have used it for many things, including to watch over my mole traps,
  14. I rang BR this morning, and they are only talking of supplying the trade, I always tend to buy flat pack, but now and then, I buy pest stop, especially when flat pack get busy, and put a 2 wk wait on delivery, like last year, and pest stop there’s a few traders around me that stock pest stop, and to be truthfull I like both,

  17. That’s if I am right, it has ZC prefix on number, but it doesn’t have the raised scope rail, so can’t be a challenger,
  18. Not sure on model, I will check later, it’s a 22 I bought it from a forum member, as that’s what I used as a lad, that and the meteors, but I for some reason changed, and went more into shotguns/ firearms and traded mine years ago, this last couple of yrs I have used it on quiet a bit on rat, and I want something for branches,

  22. Hi lads I am looking at buying a precharge airgun, this summer sometime, I am thinking of buying a second hand BSA hornet or similar, for rat and pigeon in buildings, I have been around shotguns and firearms, most my life, so I have no issues with using one, airguns however is a different story, I have no experience at all with precharged, dispite always having a springer, the question really is what kind of money are they second hand, are they worth having, I don’t need stupid ranges, just something quiet and accurate, reliable, something I can put my photon night vision on, I have a good BSA
