  1. One question I never thought of ?? Should the barrel shroud go right down the barrel, as in this picture or should it be set higher up the barrel as in this pic i suppose what I am saying what is the correct position, how far down the barrel should the shroud go,
  2. Cheers fella, never tried gorilla resin mind, I have some jb weld somewhere, never find anything when you want it, usual case
  3. Absolutely, they are the future, hope the lad does well,
  4. I will have a good look, but these are the obvious things I have found, it’s like anything you have to start and work through them,
  5. Well a couple of month ago I picked up a BSA lightning, synthetic stock in reasonable condition, lad said his son couldn’t hit anything with it, having used one when they first came out, I knew it must be young kid syndrome, as in tampering, first thing I noticed the mounts were crap not, not fitting properly at all, and Simone had messed with the barrel shroud, anyway I left it till I had time, anyway I fitted new mounts, correct for the maxi grip rail, and the groups came in dramatically, but still kept slipping off, so checked the shroud and found it loose, so I want to re stick it, I could
  6. Get geese and never get a nights sleep ??
  7. I tried HV many years ago and liked them, the draw back was I had no consistent supply, each place I went to seemed to have limited stock, but everybody had sub’s, I found the normal HV very good, in most brands, however some of the really HV, as in stingers and such, inconsistent at best,
  8. Good dogs, but get something from stock you know is working, German import, or close, if you can, but the working bit is the most important, I used mine for stalking and she could be controlled, until you set her off, then she came into her own, fearless little dogs with bit hearts, don’t let the looks deceive you,
  9. Never seen that last one before, interesting indeed
  10. My new lab he’s settleing in nice, getting in well with the others
  11. 12. Take them back mate that shouldn’t be happening, any loss of accuracy ???
  13. I have never had that with the hornet either, what are they 35-40 grn ???
  14. Tried that mate, no sign yet, he’s probably busy though,
  15. Anybody know when he will have more stock, he’s sold out and I can’t get a reply as to when they will be in
  16. Yes you should have been given a temporary licence, usually they give you it quiet quickly,
  17. Really good to see Blaise Thankyou,
  18. If you go to the clay ground them lads will help, most will let you try different guns, or even there own, once they get to know you, they will be people there, with the same eye dominance issues, who can advise you, they will at least guide you wisely when spending your cash, they may even know someone selling a gun, that might do for you, try before buy sort of thing, you really can’t go wrong, by far the best way to go forward, don’t go too cheap as there will be no re-sale value, too many people rush in,
  19. Sorry I thought BASC did, however BDS do, classsed as pest control, I rang them to confirm it,
  20. If you are only doing it in a small way as in up to £2,000 earnings you are covered by BASC / BDS it’s when you go over that as most do,
