  1. Jacks are great little birds, and although they are big egg thieves and they have given me some great sport over the years, I cant help but like their comical ways, their chatter, and their great aerial acrobatics in the wind. They make great pets as well I beleive!
  2. A nice haul there, Ben, well done.

    PAULUS THE MOD

I think its great, well done Paulus
  5. Nice pics Mally, and a nice evening with the dogs, if that was tonight.
  6. Why have you taken loads of pics of its bum hole If its a true mirror lens, you will get quite a good effect photographing highlights such as the sparkle created be sun shining on water. Where there are highlights, you will get little rings of light around them, which is classic mirror lens effect. I used to have a 500mm mirror lens for my old nikon 301 film camera, till some little toerag knicked it!
  7. you also may bump into a lunatic  Thats a certainty on here feck me went to click like then  I know, cant quite worked out how it happened yet
  8. you also may bump into a lunatic  Thats a certainty on here
  9. The full moon closest to the autumn equinox, 22 september this year, was always (is always) referred to as the "harvest moon", or the "hunters moon", as it was said that it enabled people to carry on tracking their prey into the evening, in years gone by, to make the most of long hunting days. From memory I think it is a North american indian term. Obviously tracking and lamping, are two different things.
  10. That is a good offer for someone, well done bunnyboiler
  11. Can you shoot it from within the house, maybe an upstairs window? Building a hide may work but my guess is the fox may be pretty suspicious. Get him to lock his hens up, but use one of the dead ones as bait tied to something to stop it snatching and run. Then just keep very still and quiet and wait. Alternatively carefully placed snares will work 24/7
  12. As long as they are smaller than 500kb, and then they need resizing if not using Photobucket. (unless I am missing something of course!!)
  13. Markja follow these instructions if using comuter. Go to google and find "Faststone viewer" Choose "Fastone image viewer" Choose "exe" download, or "portable" if you want to keep it on pendrive Download and then open programme. When programme is open, select folder from computer and choose picture Click on the picture, and then move curser to left hand side of page, and click resize/resample In the pixel box, type in new dimension, but 800pixels wide is ok and keeps file quite small for the website. Again go to left hand side, and choo
  14. Get a free photo programme off the interweb if you haven't got PhotoShop or similar, reduce the picture to less than 500kb which is the biggest size you can upload, and then upload pic onto thread. Some people use photobucket, but not a clue with that one!
  15. Bunnytickler, this is Indians head rocks, and for those that dont know it, it is meant to look like the face of a red indian chief with his feathered headdress. The first pic is how you look at it, the second pic is rotated in photoshop, and everything below the line is his face, and the headdress is above the line! Again use your imagination, but it is there!
  16. i can see it! Haha I can see homer now!
  17. Indians head is not far from here but this isn't it! I will dig a photo out of Indians head and post it up later. The funny thing is, I think this more like a face, than Indians head.
  18. Another morning where the cloud is down to ground level, and everywhere is waterlogged, but I did just notice this "face" in the rocks, that I had never noticed in clear conditions, as it is actually made from many boulders piled up on each other! The second image has been rotated in photoshop, to put the face upright. Hope you can see it!! Squint your eyes if you can't!
  19. Nothing wrong with that bunnytickler, I was going to take one myself of a similar spider, in one of the bushes in the garden, but the weather is crap at moment.
  20. Great skyscapes, and a weird looking tree coming out of the ground like something out of the film "tremors"
  21. Haha......eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
