    id say they could all throw to a different side of the breeding-some could be bull deerhound ,or some could be saluki wheaten etc.with less breeds involved theres less directions the genetics of the pups could take

    her dam came from legion,she was by nine and im not sure what bitch she was out of. I did think she was out of l.red but i think there was another litter by nine fairly close in time to bear,mask etc..Sorry for not txting you back (havnt had credit in a while)

    he was the grandfather of a handy bitch i had,unfortunately she was nicked about a year ago-her dam was off a bitch bred by legion-no problems with any of them.Id say sonatal nailer was born before the outcross-i think theres a brother of nailers alive somewhere(must be 16 or 17)

    you are right to an extent,but the nature of working dogs is that they must be genetically healthy to do their job properly wheras showdogs are bred to have a particular shape,looks etc. which may or not be genetically healthy for the dog.

    The more bitches its used on the more chances it has of throwing workers-its a numbers game.If you look at greyhounds Brett lee (fastest dog in the world) x paua to burn (fastest bitch in the world) and the entire litter was crap. Its in gods hands as far as im concerned-you never know how theyll turn out until you do it (one way or another) whether they are outcrossed inbred or whatever.Ive seen entire litters of workers of average parents and useless dogs from brilliant parents

    The Irish had sense and didn't bring the ban in mate unlike our labour loonies :censored: they saw the ban coming and brought in muzzles-its my cousins boyfriend handling the dog at the end of the video.I think that big fella thanks dog was 8 stone weight.

    Totally agree ...that is the problem in the gun dog world most lads are motavated by the pound if a lad has a decent dog that has won a few FTs he will put it out to all comers with out ever seeing the bitch work as he just wants to line his pocket and in all honesty you cant blame them takeing £400-£500 for letting his dog get its hole ....but like Ali says im glad I dont mix in they circles ...maybe if the gundog and most lurcher and terrier men bred purely for improveing stock then there would be so much litters and there certainly wouldnt be so much shite going about . I honestly cant be

    blue is a dilute of black-if both parents(brother/sister so probable) were carrying the dilute gene then some of the pups could be blue

    there was a family from finland that had(naturally) some type of mutation that made them shithot at endurance sports-when you think about it all olympians are genetic mutants of a sort.Could well be the reason for theie success.

    spot on there gnasher-they also have much more of a cultureof respect obedience to t6heir coaches/country etc-i heard that ma junren (90s womens running coach) used to beat the hole off his athletes with a stick if they were outsde a certain time for a lap in training

    The father of my first bitch stayed 28 hours in a very deep place-couldnt be registered as he was tricoloured-i.m.o thats the problem with the breed-other plummer marked dogs (basenjis,king charles spaniels,beagles)also come in tricolour-it may not be worthwhile trying to breed out.If people breed for colour and show points then other qualities are bound to suffer.
