Pieps Freeride With B&f Rechargable Collar
timmy k replied to noony2802's topic in Hunting Equipment
I use it takes a bit longer to find than the more expensive ones but its a lot quicker than the grey boxes, and in my opinion to many people are in to much of a rush to dig their dogs out anyway. A decent box at a more affordable price. -
He is not going to say where it is, why would he? So any one reading this can go their thinking the farmers give permission to anyone, I was there and it was a disgrace, it looked like a world war 1 film with all the trenches. Wolfie has had this permission and loads more in the area for over 10 years, and never had any problems with land owners or residents in the area, it's hard to get round all them in a season when working 6 days a week with a young family, but the farmers have had his number and if their was a real problem a quick phone call would make them a priority.

Last time I was at a show, whilst standing their watching the lurcher class a fella in front of me had a nice strong looking nuttal type dog, another fella asked him if he worked it, " no it's to good with the kids" . That was the last time I went to a show and with threads like this It proves I'm not missing nothing.

Not the same litter then, sorry to waste your time

How olds the bitch and where did it come from, it looks similar to a pup I seen a few years ago of similar breeding

Calling People Carlisle Area/tips For Lamping

With 2 million candle power I'm not surprised the batteries a load of shite, that lamp will cook the rabbit before you dog catches it -
You don't, but I can't see any other way of keeping our sport alive, the biggest problem with this game is for every decent lad there are10 more who are pure knobs and there the wankers who get the press, maybe a bit of investigating just as you would to buy a pup would be the way forward. As I said before my bitch had a phantom but had she not she would of had to of had about 10 pups before I had to worry about where the pups went to. My point being if its a well bred litter the decent lads will find you though word of mouth.

Here's my two pence worth if any body cares, my mates bitch lost her litter this year, my bitch had a phantom, so now there's a predicament of getting in new blood, will I have to pay for a pup? Yes. Do I mind paying for a pup? No. How will I go about sourcing a pup? Probably with great difficulty. The problem is you don't know what you buying, or how much crap the fella on the other end of the line is feeding you. Where I live not a lot of people seem to breed, and if they did what do you do with the surplus, giving away to friends is fine but I don't have the kennel space for loads of dogs a

As the title says my terrier bitch is due to have pups ( well if truth be known she was due Saturday) the question I want to know is how long do you let it go and is their any chance it could be a false pregnancy? And before anyone one moans unless she has more than about 7 their all taken I think.

Had a similar one once but with my lurcher, she wedge herself down the hole and pulled out a vixen, perfect condition no marks and no where near any livestock, so I don't think it was poisoned ( at least not intentionally ). Maybe it had a heart attack from fast food ha ha, maybe like people it just died, it happens.
-
If you don't mind me asking alli , why did you go for whites? Certainly looks like you had a good line of working reds mate.

Last year my digging buddy put his dog over his bitch and she got a womb infection, nearly killed her. He put the same pair together this year she had 2 pups, one died at birth the other 2 days later, neither pup looked that healthy and maybe it was due to a inhospitable womb, but just to edge are bets we put his dog to my bitch (the mother to his bitch). Theirs 4 weeks to go so fingers crossed all goes well. Had your bitch whelped before? If so it might work in your favour, I think sometimes some bitches are not good brood bitches and never will be, but good luck with future stock, it's one t

I live by the Waterloo cup grounds and pre ban the hares were lamped that often they ran as well on the lamp as they did in the day, if I went somewhere that wasn't lamped you could run them easy but on the cup grounds they would use every ditch, hedge, tree and farm machinery to their advantage, pre ban all the surrounding fields had good hare numbers, now I believe due to shooting and also the fact the hares aren't getting imported or spread across the area by beaters, hares are scares. Never had hare dogs just dogs that could catch hares ( if that makes sense ) so it doesn't effect my hunti

A question to the lads who have had a deerhound greyhound and a deerhound collie greyhound what do you think shapes up to be the better, I've had the collie cross and a mate had a dh/g 2nd gen which was shite to be honest ( no balls) might of been a one off but I do think adding something to the dh/g makes a better animal.

Dunno how tall I've never measured her maybe 26 your right though very similar.
