my deerhound x has not only caught rabbits and foxs while tumbling along the ground but due to bad footing he once done a cartwheel and then caught the rabbit, beat that burrell, i now realise that i have the first and only strain of cartwheelers, that have been in my family for years ( 7 infact ), so now i will mass produce these hounds and sell them for mega bucks, anyone interested???

fish tank carriers, other wise known as a fella carrying 2 teles, in other words a meat head with a little dick that couldnt pull a rapists off your granny, but they still have the cheek to walk around like they own the place with a large fighting / guarding dog straining on their lead.

one thing missing which i noticed you say was "if theres enough wind" i personally dont like fox calling in the wind for a few reasons 1... makes the call harder to here and can be blown in all directions 2... wind, even when its blowing in your face can just as easily bounce of walls and hedges and carry yours and your dogs scent with it. try going out on a calm dark night and follow the rest of the advice given one thing i do is use a dimmer lamp and not bother with the filter, put the dimmer as dim as poss and call away

what preparations are you lads making for the season coming eg feeding, exercising, and entering ive started the dogs on light bunny sessions and extended walks and am going to increase the fat content in the food shortly to put a bit of weight on my deerhound x ( a hard night on them red fellas fucks him right up ) any tips on what food would be best?

right, im a mechanic of 10 years and firstly ill tell you this ive never heard of pistons hitting the valves due to the wrong thickness of gasket being put on its impossible the engine just doesnt work that way, secondly putting 2 head gaskets on is the stupidist thing ive ever heard, it just wont seal end of story. also skimming the head is not unusual, alloy heads warp all the time and need skimming when ever over heating has occured but the block which is usually cast may need skimming in extreme cases, but be warned their is only so much you can skim of a head before its deem as f****d.

im trying to insure my toyota hilux at the moment but some insurance companys wont do it cause its a single cab, dont no why? and also i cant get any no claims because ive been on a company insurance for the past 10 years, but the quotes i have got a still cheaper than yours millet, sounds like your being ripped off mate

i went to a show in chesire once and took my deerhoundx with me who was recovering from a sewn up wound on his groin ( hunting accident) as i was walking round people kept on admiring the dog and saying how i should show him, i wasnt keen on it but after a while my mate twisted my arm and i entered, on walking round the ring my dog just growled all the way round at the other dogs and then when the judge was checking the dog over he must of touched his injury ( which i had warned him of ) well the dog went for him and missed his face by millimeters, ive never seen anyone jump so far, or my face -
how spannable are beddies, ive got one here whos 5 months old and i can just touch my fingers together, i understand i have short stubby fingers (a family curse) but surely at that young spanning souldnt be a problem

make your own if you cant find it 2 teaspoons lo salt 1 1/2 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda 4 teaspoons glucose powder mix the dry ingrediants and add 1 tablespoon to 1/2 a gallon of water

i live right by altcar and as you can imagine its lamped heavily all yaer round by locals and non locals, as such the hares are so well edjucated to the lamp that they run just as well in the night as they do in the day, ive never owned hare dogs but they all killed hares occasionally and probaly killed as many hares locally in the day as in the night. but if you travel a couple of miles down the road to a less known place you can chase hares round and they will stay in which ever field they were put up in. so my opinion is both but i suppose it depends were your doing the coursing.

im looking for a bitch something along the lines of a deerhound grey x saluki bull grey to put to my deerhound collie greyhound but it aint easy finding a good bitch let alone one of that stamp around my area, theirs a mass shortage of bitches around here and any about are usually heavy bull crosses, still the search continues.

does any body make training earths to bring pups on, got a beddy a couple of weeks back and was thinking about making a training earth or an artificial earth to let the pups confidence grow so when hes old enough entering an earth shouldnt be a problem, anybody got any thoughts on the subject or should i just leave it, im new to terriers so any advise appriciated

one method of seeing if theirs any rats and save wasting a day is to walk around the places you intend on ferreting at night with the lamp if you dont see any then go somewhere else and try until you find a good spek

whens the best time of year to use the vixen bark, dog fox bark and the cub barks, also is the crow noise just for calling crows or does work on fox aswell, and on the call master digi fox caller what numbers are what calls just got one and can make a few of them out but others sound very similar, and i didnt get any instructions with it either which was a bit strange.

keep them strapped up with tape even when working them, ive had to do it a few times, and i still do it now even when the stoppers not torn, prevention is better than cure as they say.

them cougars are some big b*****ds, always thought that if i seen one of them while out lamping i would give the dogs a slip, now im having second thoughts, never realised they were that big, wouldnt fancy trying to pull one of them off me dogs.

got a dog of that breedng no probs with rabbits or anything else for that matter, a cross i would highly recommend

the dog i have now is this coss 3/4 deerhound greyhound x 1/2 beardie collie greyhound, wouldnt swap him for nowt. kills rabbits no probs, even digs some out of shallow warrens, never used him with ferrets though, but hes killed all quarry

got me a beddie yesterday looks like ill be seeing you all at crufts next year what i want to know is how do you stick them fluffy balls to their ears

thanks for your replys topper and beddie.man, have rung the numbers, one litter gone, another to far away but going to see a litter tomorrow 2 dogs left sounds promising talking to the owner sounds just like what im after but time will tell.
