  1. I think you all out of order, having a lurcher that can pick up litter is an essential part of lurcher work, how much for these pups? Ill have two.
  2. Don't forget that the American lads don't use bull crosses on their coyote dogs and they have easy access to better bull lines than us Brits, but I think that's half the problem us Brits f**k up a lot of the good stuff we have, their shouldn't be any reason that a collie x doesn't take fox but alot don't, personally I think collie breeds aren't what they used to be.
  3. and 'C'.... Bosuns an ugly b*****d and he'd probably be on the photo with knock eyes and nobbly knees.
  4. pm bosun on here he goes the merseyside club, he can tell you the dates and location. its still about forty minutes away from you though .

  7. as the title says just wondering what its like as my family has a place there, the land ive seen their looks rocky and unforgiving but im sure not everywheres like that.
  8. dogs have gotta be of stern stuff to stay in my kennels them fluffy things wouldnt last especially if I kenneled it with murtha the murderer.
  9. I read somewhere once why have a bitch which is a pain 2 weeks a year when you could have a dog thats a pain 52 weeks a year. all the dogs ive had are like teenage boys just iterested in the 3 Fs.....f*****g. FIghting. Feeding.
  10. I agree to some extent on testing the bitch for a good few seasons, but if you give a bitch 5seasons of proper graft the bitch will be 7 years old, is that not a bit old for a bitches first litter, and then you have another problem in which if all the pups turn good and you want to do a repeat mating, by the time the pups have proved themselves by your time scale the original bitch will be 14. also if a bitch is good enough their is always a risk that the bitch might not survive till the next season such is the risk of terrier work. one thing I will say on the price of these big named terriers
  11. i eat the makeral myself and give the heads and fins to the dogs whole.
  12. just a quick one, I know a gun must be presenet at a dig by law but would a captive bolt gun be acceptable? is a licence required? and finally if a licence isnt required has anyone got one for sale?
  13. did they get their dog took off them, if so where they returned in one piece ive heard their not shy on castrating the dogs they confiscate.
  14. nobody have any rabbits off ideation , you'll bite into it and it'll ouze like a cream bun .

  16. dont mean to sound like mr doom and gloom but it sounds like its done less than average to me maybe give itt a few more years and a lot more digs. but its your dog so do what you like, I just dont think its been properly tested underground.
  17. You must know me pretty well you got everything spot on, but go back to keeping staffs a breed thats already been f****d up by wanna be KNOB heads. And thats all ive got to say on that subject cant be arsed with a back and forth slanging match
  18. 99% of people on here cant spell and nobody gives a flying f**k, if thats all you can get me on big deal. The fact still remains you jumped the gun and got yourself into something you know nothing about.
  19. Jesus christ some of the nobs on this sight, its an earthdog forum and the fellas scared to let it go to ground, youve wasted your time getting a pat, as has been said theirs plenty of dogs out there that will kill rats and rabbits and not to be forgotten if you do let it go imagine the shock on your familys face when you bring the dog home and its lips hanging down by its toes, this is what I admire about my dogs their willingness to go into battle with out a second thought for their own health, it doesnt seem from what you say that you fully understand the working dog game.
  20. 7 mile jog twice a week and usual walking everyday this is for the lurcher and terrier
