Whippet Section Needed, Whos With Me ?
shaaark replied to brenner's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
I suppose you're right johnny, but it would be good if whippet owners could post pics etc and tell people of their days/nights out without half this site calling them liars, and ridiculing their whippets. People could call 75% of the bull x owners on this site liars etc, but what does that do apart from piss people off, start arguments and discourage people from posting?! We're all entitled to our own opinions, but it certainly does seem that whippet owners get more flack on this site than anyone else when it comes to working their dogs. And not everyone needs, or even wants a dog capable -
CC is the barrel on the s6 still weirhauch, or are they using LW barrels on all their range of rifles now? I had a jubilee a few years ago, and that had the weirhauch barrel

the 110 only weighs a few ounces less than a full size 100 The 110 is over a pound lighter than the 100 not according to the lad weighing them at blackpool air rifles https://youtu.be/bbmHg9agM3c Aye, but that twerp can't read a digital scales properly, and you aint going to get the proper weight if you're holding what you're trying to weigh either lol. The 110 IS over a pound lighter than a full length 100. I was going to get the 100kt myself, so borrowed a mate's for two weekends in a row. Excellent rifles, but not for me. Went to three rfd's and looked at and shouldered abo

Whippet Section Needed, Whos With Me ?

Yeah, very constructive comment. What is wrong with you?! ............. Ah I get it, your mate tommy27, his whippets are making your dogs look second rate, so you feel the need to 'rubbish' whippets on this site, same as most people that can't hack the fact that a dog half the size of your own dog is a better dog! Lol -

With you 100% on this, and for all the same reasons. I think we've both been saying this for a while . -

My thinking is, the more nervous and insecure a person is, the more nervous, insecure and aggressive the dog is. Nervous, insecure and aggressive, see it all the time in people and dogs, especially at shows, one of the reasons I stopped attending shows. And too many naive/ignorant people breeding dogs with piss poor temperaments for money, just because they're fashionable! Look at most of these toy/lap dog types as an example, almost every single one of them that I've seen, my mrs mini shnauzer included, are nervy, yappy, insecure, nervy/aggressive little c**ts, a bit like my mrs lol. Not

Oooh ! lol .................. .......... he right really above , bloody hell ive had bullmastiffs dogs+ bitches in my old house all year round , when the bitches broke down , would keep them in a different room for couple of weeks. you got to be on top of the job, or your males deff will haha . only keep lurcher males now lot less hassle I know, I was agreeing. But I thought it might've added 'fuel to the fire' lol. DB's comment I meant, hence the popcorn emoticon lol

You don't need to explain your situation with anyone on here fella, good luck with the litter. Oh yeah, you'll also get the 'naysayers' on here saying that the pups won't be worth taking a chance on, as the dam is 'unproven' without 2,3, 4 or 5 years 'graft' behind her bollocks

I'm with francie and dogfox123 on this one. They weren't real snakes, you could buy one of those from woollies and some other big stores for about 10p, I bought one about 45 years ago! Lol. I've got all attenborough's programs on tape, and nearly all his books, the man's a legend, and like the bbc or not, alot of the wildlife stuff, especially with david attenborough narrating, is top class

Bought an HW K off a mate of mine, a week yesterday. He doesn't know what year it's from either, as he had it given to him lol. I just looked at that site list, and it's not on there. Barrel is stamped hull cartridge and serial number is 1411051. Barrel on this one isn't screw cut either. Any help on this?

Best Dog For Hare On Small Fields
shaaark replied to Joshua Wheeler's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Not saying I don't believe it cos I haven't seen it, I have seen a few bull/greys and lurchers with a fair amount of bull in running at all the usual quarry, and none of them caught a hare or a deer that didn't panic and bounce off a fence back into the dog. That's what I HAVE seen. I've not seen as many bull x's at work that other people might have. And yes, it might've seemed at the time that I was slating king's dog/dogs, but I wasn't really, it was just bull x's and the heavier bull x types generally. @ king if you're reading this. You're right though, many different types of lurcher about -

Best Dog For Hare On Small Fields

Because you recon a bull x cant even catch rabbits. Didn't say that. I said my old dog would catch more game in six weeks than your bull x could in six months.Would that be by weight or numbers Both . The old dog's long dead and buried now, but he was a very good dog, with no bull blood in him, and his father was ............... hancock's 'taffy' !! Lol Edited to add, would I have another beardie blooded dog? Not a cat in hell's chance! Lets have a list of game that this dog caught in 6 weeks shark.Pre ban obviously. A few rabbits, but mostly hares and deer, roe and fallow. That ok?No
