  2. If you went where I think you went it's like running the dogs on a memory foam mattress and ideal for starting youngsters.Thats convinient lol must be only place in country every where else is like ironIf it was like iron I don't think the dog would of lasted 30 plus runs? 30 runs?! Thought it was only a few?It caught 29 so must of been 30 plus runs. Unless it catches a few off each run. Stranger things have been claimed on THL. Lol You've lost me mate lol. Don't know tb25, but when he said 'a few runs to teach it the lamping game' I assumed he just gave a sapling a few runs? Ah well, not

  5. Very decent gesture that, good man .Did something similar with my lad a while back, who's been shooting since he was 10, he's now 25. Had my heart set on a HW . Shouldered one and a couple more HW's, a couple of dianas and bsa's ............. came home with a brocock jubilee! Lol Fell in love with it as soon as I shouldered it! Lol Those jubilees mate... Limited edition so I remember. Nice. Very nice. Bit different. Yes it was no 12 of 50 in .22. Very very accurate and light, beautiful rifle. But I'm afraid I didn't do it, or myself really, the justice it deserved. Didn't get out

  8. Nice dogs there mate. Apart from the cream dog in the top pic, are they all pure saluki?
  9. If you had a face like mine you'd be troubled lol Cheers I do like that dog of yours tommy, belter . PS And nice to see someone of your size/build with proper running dogs lol
  10. I prefer Dogo cross Italian greyhound myself Sounds a serious type that, those italian greyhounds take some holding back! Seen one pull a sledge that normally took 4 couple huskies just to get it moving Oh I don't doubt it. A couple own one about a mile from me. Must weigh all of 14 or 15lb. Looks an absolute beast to control! Lol

  13. Nice . .177 or.22 mate?
  14. Cracking pics and land/area. What's in that bitch besides saluki mate?
  15. Sully, is your pup a 1st x, or just collie/grey? 14" AT 10 weeks is a fair size. Should easily make 26" plus. Very nice pup by the way
  16. Best post so far. And I'm with you 100% on the 'they learn nothing in a kennel' bollox. Anyone with half an inkling about dogs, and educating them, will ensure that as pups they are reared, socialised, and educated as to the countryside etc, and not kept locked in a kennel for 12 hours a day, and without trying them too young. It is a nice pup by the way, but I'm still wondering how it caught those rabbits, unless it practically tripped over them. He looks a proper big gangly pup, and too immature to have even half decent speed or coordination to catch healthy rabbits. Anyway, nice pup
  17. Coomassie only 44lb when she won the waterloo cup in 1877, and I think 44 1/2 lb when she won it the year later 1888. And just having a look now at some waterloo cup results, Penelope II only 41 lb! 1886 runner up. Master M'grath only 54 lb. Seems like it's only relativly recently that you get these huge dogs of -90 lb.
  18. Was asking about this cross a couple of years ago. Be interesting to hear what some members say about this lol. Good luck with your search
