What A Test And Such Good Fun.
shaaark replied to mark williams's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Can I just say or ask , where does this 3ft lb of energy with an air rifle pellet come into play, to 'humanely kill said quary, rabbits, arise from??? -
Any pics of the pups mate, or is it still a bit too soon for the bitch? Ie, being unsettled
-
Not to mention bin licking and shit eating Those two activities should be a given, considering the dogs in the breeding! Lol

I never put pics up on here, don't know how to anyway. As others have said, I aint interested, or really can't be arsed learning how to either. But I do enjoy some of the pics put up, especially the ones in the thread last year of gypsies, warreners etc with their different running dogs. Can't think of the thread now, but it was probably the most popular thread that's been on this site

I know a few that show it but the owners don't allow them to use it properly they see it as hunting on or buggering off so to speak , then there is a few who point blank won't use there nose or sight unless the owner is pointing them in the right direction ... Then we have the ones that are never allowed off the slip unless they are running something and once they are off they go wild they are free they won't come back to owner the owner gets pissed off dog gets put on merry go round . It's that simple put in the time from young and you end up with a dog that will do what you expect in the fie

Spring Er Time Approaching
shaaark replied to philpot's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Thanks for that. 1.5lb is a fair weight saving, and I've not yet read a really negative review on the 98 -
No need to read up i understand the basics, an nothing is pure as you think, nowt bar the wolf or fox or whatever is the true wild ancestors of our mutts. A mate of mine had his whippet a dna test and it come back with dalmation, sheltie collie an staffy in it haha he then took his full saluki an it come back with greyhound an hound blood in it haha Your mates certainy wasnt a saluki then go check your talking shite It fcuking is, imported dog from germany or summat, more paperwork than sense. Like ivvsaid going by your definition then everybreed bar the wolf and its first crosses are mongre

Spring Er Time Approaching
shaaark replied to philpot's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Still on the lookout for a springer myself. Been seriously considering a HW98. I know they aint light, but still very manageable. Would they be lighter than a TX200? -
Kelb is just a deragatory word. Could be used at anyone or anything. Just looked it up on google

Perhaps they're just 'really' good friends ..................... and have a fetish for uniforms! .............

Far too many people take working dogs too seriously. Apart from pest control, in certain situations, no-one these days needs a dog, or two or three or more, to provide food for the table. Everything now seems to be catch as much as you can, whatever the weather, ground conditions etc, to outdo everyone else. For me, to go out for a few hours watching a dog or two pushing a rabbit around a small wood for half an hour or so before catching it, is far more enjoyable than walking for miles at night with the lamp and catching 10,15 or so rabbits. You don't see hardly anything apart from what's

And, as forest of dean redneck has said, years ago we never heard about 'bushing' dogs. You and your mates just took along every conceivable mutt, mostly mongrels, but some pedigree breeds, that would tag along with you. All this 'purpose bred bushing types' is a load of shite if you ask me. I saw many a street, pet mongrel that would put most of these purpose bred dogs to shame when it comes to general work/rabbiting.Great days out I used to take a lab cross from a few doors up that dog was lethal in cover got plenty with him and got help any stranger that came to close to me I was

Pic Of My Uncles Dog Wheaton Grey X Whippet
shaaark replied to hawkins26's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Both brains and brawn, each dog is different in they're own way, I suppose you will never get two the same. had a bitch that didn't like other dogs, this one doesn't like strange people very much and my other two halfx are sound, if another dog shows any aggression what so ever to either of them they won't hesitate, (Ticking time bombs) when out with others who have aggressive dogs. The firstx is the one on the right. I tried to put better pictures up but were to big. Type in wheaten in the search bar at the top right hand side of the page and select forums, should bring up the past pages on t -

Yep, even I, as a non bull x person was enjoying this thread

??? I've sometimes been a bit dismissive of people's choice of dog, but I've never hoped anyone's pup would break it's neck! Sad state of affairs on here most of the time of late

Hw100Kt Or Full Length Version?
shaaark replied to TriggerPlease's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I've shot the kt but not the full length version. I think it's down to each individual as to how they percieve the weight. You will get less shots shots with the k, but the added weight of the full length version. Plenty of lads on here with 100's, that I'm sure will be able to answer you better, and more thoroughly lol. Oh yeah, after shooting the HW100 KT, and realising it didn't really suit me, I shot, then bought the HW110 .177 cal. Best thing I did. Good luck matey
