All cracking pups, and I suppose being the only brindle he would sort of stand out. But those pied pups are also little belters

Is the brindle pup a bitch R m?

I'll knock them for you sandy, all those vegan etc etc groups are all fukin BARMY. A bit strange again though, as you said, people using this site, as an example, in a minority group. But everyone I personally know on this site, and the thousands I haven't met, are feeding their dogs, workers or not, appropriate food, and in the main raw/barf. Again, these vegan etc 'apostles' are all fukin barmy! . I won't get started on religion lol ............... or politics! lol

You are correct bear. Without animal protein, dogs, humans etc don't develope mentally as well as those that do eat animal protein. And that's just mentally. You need animal protein and fat in your diet to be properly healthy. 100% with you too tank, f****n BARMY, the lot of em!! Lol Oh yeah, and £9.49 for 2 kilos lol, I'll bet it'll only be bought by these tree hugging, save the whale, lesser spotted purple butterfly or whatever, lunatics who don't want to harm a fly, but seem very keen to adopt rescue greyhounds etc! Lol

The New Pup Deerhound Greyhound
shaaark replied to scottish hare hunter's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
S h h he'll make over 30" if he's that size already, and apart from the smooth coat he does look very deerhoundy. I'd definitely say at least 30". Lovely pup . Oh yeah, is he the one you'll be putting over your bitch in the future, if he turns out as you want? -
I think it's ok if there's whippet in only one of the parents w k, but when you breed a litter with whippet in both parents that's when you'll increase the chances of getting more whippet type/characterisics etc. Or it's ok if you don't mind your pup ending up fairly whippety. To me it's quite simple, I don't like bull x's, so I wouldn't pick a pup that had bull in sire and dam. Or beddy lurchers, so I wouldn't pick a pup with beddy in both parents. But a little bull or beddy in one of the parents wouldn't necessarily put me off. Not disrespecting different types, or people's own choice,

The bitch is twice the size of a whippet and she is only nine months old ... what she looks like now is not what she will look like when she has finished growing ...... I know the difference full well as to how much a pup, sapling and adult change as they develope into maturity. And I still say your bitch has turned out fairly whippety. Nothing wrong with that. Just making a pretty obvious observation. The bitch is twice the size of a whippet and she is only nine months old ... what she looks like now is not what she will look like when she has finished growing ...... Not saying s

Yep, whippet and greyhound. Don't need any more drive than what these give. A bit more thinking ability maybe, but definitely no more drive

The bitch is twice the size of a whippet and she is only nine months old ... what she looks like now is not what she will look like when she has finished growing ...... Not saying she isn't bigger than some whippets. And they aint all 19-20" and about 20-25lb. Plenty at over 22" and at or about 40lb, You telling me that bitch is about 70-80lb?
-
Can I just ask why you are so anti whippet, when your bitch IS very whippety and looks sharp and on the ball?

Any Litters From Fox Killing Parents Being Bred In Ireland
shaaark replied to WILF's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Over 25/26", pure greyhound. Not just you, but don't know why people who want a 'teeth' dog want a lurcher. If that's all you want, a greyhound will do it very easily., and be usefuful for a bit more -

shaaark replied to my hounds's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
The thing is the advert says "Female Deerhound" that's my point theres no mention shes a cross,to me theres not even a hint of Deerhound, nothing. Bobhow, I've had and seen plenty of smooth coated pied, and a few practically all white, collie/deer/greys and deer/greys, 3/4 grey/deer and 5/8ths 3/8ths deer/greys and 1st x to 1st x, and I know what your saying about colour etc, especially with greyhound in both sire and dam, so they can throw all colours I suppose. But as my hounds says, the ad says female 'deerhound' and that pup is as different to a deerhound as a siberian husky is to a bea -
Exactly what I'm eating right now lol

Are you doubting the words of the owner of the dog, or plummer? There's a head scratcher for you neal lol Good point...I guess I'd say that the owner believed what he was telling me was true...but I didn't believe it. There was also the fact that several years before this he'd written an article in which he mentioned his aim to breed a strain of merle beardies and went on to say how little border blood they'd need to have before they could be regarded as "pure" beardie...lo and behold a few years later he said he'd discovered some pure beardies which mysteriously had a merle gene...bu -
New Dog Rescued What You Think She Is
shaaark replied to chris1wg's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Chris honestly still be aware the rehoming centre if its of good reputation still has the juristdiction as regards the dog,if the story is correct then the T**Ts who adopted her then went on to sell want ******* again if its true. Ah I get it, I didn't read it thoroughly -
Thought these would've been gone pretty sharpish mate, quite surprised you've actually had to advertise them again. Hope you find good homes for them soon

Does look a nice bitch to be fair. Alot of young lurchers are a bit too boisterous with young children. Hope it works out for you -

Same here mate, I was under the same impression as to them being speyed/neutered before rehoming -
can do yes but definatly not in a firstx I didn't know that either. What about the lightly feathered pures you get riohog, do they occur in the same litters as the more feathered types, and just less feathered than their siblings?
-
As greyman said, lurcher x lurcher. Probably got saluki, collie. whippet and greyhound in it, and possibly some deerhound. Not a bad looking dog

Looks like it could be the mother to 'topsy' the 'pure deerhound' for sale on gumtree, to be honest. Looks like saluki/bull/grey to me. Nice bitch -

Just rang about 'topsy'. Apparently I'm not suitable, after the 'vetting' that I was grilled with. Shame that, I've always wanted a smooth haired pracically all white deerhound! Never mind
