  1. Good point there about camping. I was thinking of everyday use, and plinking etc, and hunting 2-3 days a week. Gonna go through ALOT of pellets AND air if that's what he intends. @ Sharback, you might want to consider the HW110, I've had one since last november in .177. Incredible accuracy, ultra reliable and consistent, and I'm getting over 120 shots per charge with h+n ftt and jsb exacts 4.52, and 130 with AA fields 4.52. Hope that might be a little help for you
  2. If you're going to use it everyday, then I'd suggest the full length HW100, nearly double the shot count of the K
  3. You going to put the pup over your bitch in a couple of years time, if he's doing well?
  4. If there's beardie in it I'm sure it'll come to you in time
  5. haha it's his time to shine this season. Not gone out yet but gonna make a start. He's fast, powerful and most of all keen as feck. So here's hoping he will make Sumin.Ai might add few posts up, iv not been on a while due to work and few other things. I got a hancock for the wife , nice pup mate.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pnR78TWd2Q Both nice dogs there, been watching the clips you put up for quite a while. Don't know why people keep comparing lurchers to whippets, it's not, or shouldn't be anyway, a contest to see which is the better working dog. Lurchers and whippets, BOTH v
  6. Two dogs on one rabbit?! Tut tut tut ...................... looks a cracking day
  7. Most whippet pups will lose a bit of weight over the first week or so of going to a new home, unless they're very greedy. Well that's what I've found over the years. Her appetite should start getting better from now on, and she'll start filling out a bit more. I don't think daniel cain was being flippant, just the way most things come across on the web, especially THL! Lol
  8. IMG_0312.JPG Cracking that. I find it very interesting that lurchers with whippet blood, and pure whippets, are enthusiastic about taking feather
  9. There is always a young fella out there who doesn't have the advice he or she needs to continue in the sport and not only learn by his mistakes but can learn how to avoid and correct them .A book on any subject can help in many ways .I learned a lot in the beginning which was so long ago that I don't care to remember by reading up on the type of hunting I wanted to do and not just listen to a lot of old wives tales and bullshit info by word of mouth. . Its true that getting out into the field and making the mistakes can and does educate you more than just the theory but the combination of bot
  10. Well, f**k all to do with the size of salukis lol, but just googled 'were some of the early german shepherd dogs brindle in colour'? And followed a couple of other links to sites. Damned interesting, and some stunning animals
  11. Yes a complicated subject, as like you say, no brindling in dobermans, but there was 'supposedly' greyhound blood bred into them as an emerging breed
  12. As far as you know db, was greyhound added to the sloughi and azawakh as well? They both come in all the colours that salukis do as well as brindle
  13. Why is brindle not accepted as a colour? See it in slouhgis, basenjis and a few other breeds with no bull blood in them
  14. Looks very good that. What sort of price are we looking at?
  15. Very good that mate. She looks very whippety, how much whippet in her?
  16. Yeah looks a nice pup. Had a bitch with 1/4 deerhound in her, she ended up almost 29" tts lol. Didn't stop her catching though
  17. Is that 1/2 grey 1/4 deerhound 1/4 beddy? Nice pup, but doesn't look that type. Just zoomed in on the pics, and turned my head to the side to look properly lol, does look a nice pup lol

  22. This is an interesting subject. But can I just ask, with .177 in fac I've read, can't remember where, that once past 900 fps it loses stability/accuracy, but .20 or .22 are not affected as much, making them a better calibre for fac. That right?
  23. Was the bitch a littermate to nick nack paddy wack's litter that he bred down from alphabetti spaghetti's brother's bitch, that was mated to 'jack the farmyard accident's' litter brother, owned by some CASH FLEECING LYING c**t, that always seem to have a litter EXACTLY how you wanted it to be bred?
