  1. What are you doing trev70?! Do you not know that whippets are shit, and are FAR INDISPERIOR to a bull cross, for working etc?! Lol, I like all sighthounds, but whippets ARE my favourites. THE most underated dog of all time, especially on this site. I've owned whippets in the past that would make many modern day lurchers look slow and less than ordinary at ALL quarry. And I could write reams about them, but I won't, people aint interested, unless it's got 'a head like a bucket' etc lol. Anyway, keep your posts coming, I really enjoy them
  2. Same here wk. The lies, deceipt, and utter shite that I've witbessed over the years when I've been to view litters of 'genuine' crosses/types, and how good they are with superb temperaments etc etc, defies all logic and belief lol. And again, if some people think hancocks kennels are dirty, scruffy, dogs never leave their pens etc, then you really do need to take a look at more than 6 or 7 litters of some of these 'home bred' pups. Some places I've been to defy description with mess etc, and will leave you feeling sick with disgust, and feeling very sorry for the pups and dam. That's why

  4. so I'm to keep waiting on the hope of getting a collie x from home bred litter? I made my choice and I'm happy with it he's a belting little dog.I don't agree with Hancock ways etc but end of the day I got what I wanted, infact, I got more than I wanted he's easy to get on with, quick learner but not complicated amd I domt hear him. Great stuff, i hope he does well for you. I can slate Hancock with the best of em, Plummer too but i've owned two Hancock bitches and i really liked em. Sadly i never owned em from pups and one was very neurotic and needed constant attention, the other had never

  6. I remember the days when most people would struggle to shift a litter of mongrels, with probably half the litter being discreetly 'disposed' of. But these days as long as you say it's a purpose bred crossbreed and give them a ridiculously fluffy cuddly name tag, you're laughing. And though it might offend some people that are reading this, I COULD NOT bring myself to actually tell anyone, or even say it out loud, that I've gone and bought a labradoodle, puglington cockerpoo, cocklington or whatever else that these people are flogging these days! The shame of it And before anyone picks m
  7. Or come after you and your dog, biting and kicking. Lol I've had a couple of close scrapes like that at night . f**k knows why I've put a laughing face up, it was anything but funny at the time . It was many years ago, only took me the second time to fully comprehend what could easily have happened if I hadn't have dived over a railway embankment fence into some thick cover, (complete with lamp, battery etc) wich I lost in the same cover, with horse only a few yards behind me as I went over the fence, and the c**t was trotting back and forth actively looking for me! Lol. From that night on

  9. Lol pedigrees that are half arsed guesses and suppositions written by all those really 'honest' coursing lads lol. Load of baloney. Most people will tell you what you want, or expect to hear. I fell for it once, NEVER again! Lol
  10. But weren't mary and kevin sired by the same dog that was out of 'billy the accident's' ltter brother, through irene and mary's aunt flossie?! ......... lol
  11. I just reread this whole thread . I NEED SOME FRESH AIR! LOL
  12. I suppose you're right johnny, but it would be good if whippet owners could post pics etc and tell people of their days/nights out without half this site calling them liars, and ridiculing their whippets. People could call 75% of the bull x owners on this site liars etc, but what does that do apart from piss people off, start arguments and discourage people from posting?! We're all entitled to our own opinions, but it certainly does seem that whippet owners get more flack on this site than anyone else when it comes to working their dogs. And not everyone needs, or even wants a dog capable
  13. CC is the barrel on the s6 still weirhauch, or are they using LW barrels on all their range of rifles now? I had a jubilee a few years ago, and that had the weirhauch barrel
  14. the 110 only weighs a few ounces less than a full size 100 The 110 is over a pound lighter than the 100 not according to the lad weighing them at blackpool air rifles https://youtu.be/bbmHg9agM3c Aye, but that twerp can't read a digital scales properly, and you aint going to get the proper weight if you're holding what you're trying to weigh either lol. The 110 IS over a pound lighter than a full length 100. I was going to get the 100kt myself, so borrowed a mate's for two weekends in a row. Excellent rifles, but not for me. Went to three rfd's and looked at and shouldered abo

  17. Come on admin, sort out a whippet section for whippet enthusiasts. It would be a very popular subsection I'm sure
  18. Yeah, very constructive comment. What is wrong with you?! ............. Ah I get it, your mate tommy27, his whippets are making your dogs look second rate, so you feel the need to 'rubbish' whippets on this site, same as most people that can't hack the fact that a dog half the size of your own dog is a better dog! Lol
  19. With you 100% on this, and for all the same reasons. I think we've both been saying this for a while .
  20. what you gone and said now?!! You can't say that to most of the lads on here, it just aint the done thing lol
  21. My thinking is, the more nervous and insecure a person is, the more nervous, insecure and aggressive the dog is. Nervous, insecure and aggressive, see it all the time in people and dogs, especially at shows, one of the reasons I stopped attending shows. And too many naive/ignorant people breeding dogs with piss poor temperaments for money, just because they're fashionable! Look at most of these toy/lap dog types as an example, almost every single one of them that I've seen, my mrs mini shnauzer included, are nervy, yappy, insecure, nervy/aggressive little c**ts, a bit like my mrs lol. Not
  22. one of my pet hates them.. + 1, f***ing hate the things!
  23. Oooh ! lol .................. .......... he right really above , bloody hell ive had bullmastiffs dogs+ bitches in my old house all year round , when the bitches broke down , would keep them in a different room for couple of weeks. you got to be on top of the job, or your males deff will haha . only keep lurcher males now lot less hassle I know, I was agreeing. But I thought it might've added 'fuel to the fire' lol. DB's comment I meant, hence the popcorn emoticon lol
