  1. Lol I put just enough in so it gives it a slight beefyish tone. It's actually VERY nice. Also sometimes put an anchovy inside a joint of lamb before cooking it, a tip I learned off james martin, tv chef, on the rare occasions we eat lamb. Again, surprisingly nice.
  2. Was the done thing in practically every pup in the late 70's early 80's
  3. It was your 'apple' thread that prompted me to suggest a few Henry Westons lol ?
  4. Lol, yep, in all seriousness, I think the majority of people on here have empathy, respect even, for most of the quarry they hunt. And yep, foxes are right up there as one of my favourites.
  5. Funnily enough, I said the lord's prayer over last sunday's chicken on our sunday roast. Poor little f****r, just laying there, all crisped up and roasted to perfection. Was almost a crime carving the breast off him. I feel your concern ??
  6. Was me. Can't beat a few of those to unwind with. ?
  7. @foxdropper I see you liked that lol. My attempt at a bit of festive humour lol. My mrs put up a few christmas decorations ealier,, nothing over the top, just a few window decorations really. Does my head in though, so I had to snap myself out the sullen mood I was descending into lol.
  8. I'd agree with that kd, yeah ?
  9. Plenty of arse ends on here. Probably being 'feral' for a couple of years as youngsters is a contributing factor.
  10. Are there that many on here that can even spell offliner, never mind navigate their way to a postcode? ?
  11. .................... not for me lol ?
  12. Not for me mate, can't stand the stuff, or icing lol ?
  13. Quite easy to make your own mate. Get some small brass plates, polish the gubbins out of them, incorporate them into your dog's collar, job done ?. Oh yeah, before I forget, dog's got to be brindle, and fairly tall to tall, well, say not below about 25"ish. Job's always a tad harder with a smaller type. But can still be achieved, with diligence. Hope you have success mate ??
  14. Tall, brindle lurchers, adorned with shiny collars, for lamping mice. Shiny collar helps dazzle the mice by the lamp light 'glinting' off the the shiny collar, that the tall, brindle dog is wearing, into the mice's eyes, thus rendering them easier for capture. ?
  15. It is crazy. He'd have a job fitting a red deer in that bag ?
  16. Those of the shiny collar
  17. He says the tail was there before the cows were super imposed for size comparison. I know it could still be a calf though.
  18. When I lived in a caravan years ago, All my pans and kettle were copper bottomed. Thought about living on a barge a couple of times, but the mrs is not keen lol. I could live with less than a quarter of what she deems as 'essential'. Drives me nuts on times lol.
