  1. Obviously ran him at too young an age then. I know what I know, and know what I've seen mate. Been involved with all types of dogs for longer than you've been alive. Kin el, you don't like being told eh? Lol ?
  2. My best ever catch dog was sired by hancock's Taffy. His dam was a very greyhoundy mongrel lurcher. Definitely the fastest lurcher off the mark, and up to about 200 yards, I've ever owned. I suppose not strictly a 3/4 bred, but you'd think his dam was a greyhound, so more or less a 3/4 bred. I caught loads of hare and deer with him. Seen quite a few 3/4 breds from hancocks. Can honestly say I'd be happy to own all of them. Very versatile, efficient working lurchers. All border collie bred. Don't know what the situation is now with them though. Was it last year they stopped bree
  3. Yeah, I've watched quite a few of those podcasts. Sometimes he looks and sounds fine, and talks sensible etc, other times he looks and behaves like he's still in the middle of some mind bending, drug induced vortex!! ?. Watched jones having a session of chiropractic the other night, by that 'hightower' fella. He looked a fair bit 'frailer' than what tyson is looking. If tyson 'does what he wants' I can see jones being badly hurt.
  4. Thanks for that. I know it's an exhibition, but I wouldn't trust tyson to strictly obey any rules lol ?.
  5. Tyson v jones, absolutely pointless. Could be a dangerous undertaking for Jones, his punch resistance has been gone for quite a lot of years now. Do you know what size gloves will be used gnash?
  6. Agree with you G. Joyce is pretty ordinary at best. What's the point of only having stamina as a 'boxing' skill? And as been said already, he's 36 and isn't really going to improve much, if at all, from now to the end of his career which won't be that far away. Dubois inside four rounds for me.
  7. What's with this 'Hi Walshie' shit fd? I don't really think he, or any other mods, give a f**k about 90% of your posts. Not being sarky like, just honest.
  8. How's he bred mate, looks mostly collie/grey with a tad of beardie?
  9. @bigmac 97kt Like a lot of the guys have said on here, I've never met you or your family. But from the posts you and A LOT of people have put up on here over the years, it's obvious you and your family are held in very high esteem. And that doesn't happen by chance. Heart wrenching to read this thread. Condolences and best wishes to you all.
  10. Cos they're bred from 'the' dog ?
  11. Funnily enough, I'm on the settee as I text this ?
  12. Yeah, too many fuckwits breeding em ?
  13. Hopefully, after all these spice buying experiences, a decent curry ?
  14. Aaah that supposed to be a chick? Yeah, can see it now ??
  15. That's better than king's drawing of a lurcher. I could tell that is corn on the cob straight away ?
  16. Yeah, like when those commentators at crufts describe the sealyham terrier, for example as being 'fit for function'. ?
  17. Like twelsh said, get some belting 3/4 breds that are very capable.
  18. Exactly that mate. I agree with you about some of the guys on here, re ID ing wildlfe, brilliant, but I wouldn't call it a very wide section. I'd say it's a miniscule amount of the population that are really into their wildlife. Be great if one of them could capture something clearly definitive. A lot of those pics they put on here are professional standard.
  19. It's been said mate. Check out the thread when sutcliffe died a few weeks ago.
  20. I've said I believe it's easily possible for big cats to easily survive in this country, without being seen by practically anyone. Half the people on this site have seen little more than rabbits, hares, fox and/or some species of deer, and those animals are everywhere. Yet those same people are out in the counryside all the time.
