  1. Ok, no drama, but why did you have it valued if it means such sentimental value? Realistically, I couldn't/wouldn't give a f**k. We've all been skint mate, several times throughout our lives. Just don't give us the bollox about not selling, when you've had it valued. Simple. ?
  2. Yep 100%. Had a couple of colie cross bitches the same. Had all the speed and physical attibutes for anything, but just weren't really interested in fox. Didn't bother me in the slightest, because I wasn't, and still aint, bothered about foxes. ?
  3. Nice. I've had a couple of predominantly white, pied dogs in the past. No different to any other colour. Actually, one of my most promising lurchers, a white and black bitch, which I've mentioned to poxon on here, was stolen from me in her second work season. She was coming on very favourably, until some scabby c**ts stole her. Said it then, and I'll say it now, I hope the c**ts crashed and died on their home from stealing her off me. Just came to me now, it was mid-late summer 1999. So it would've been just before her 3rd work season.
  4. Does it work arry? ? ............. ??
  5. Not being a twat here mate, but, it's that sentimental to you you've had it valued? ?
  6. Don't really know mate. But several greyhound trainers and coursing dog owners use them.
  7. Aint most of all that shit what regular druggies suffer from anyway?
  8. I can afford several soverein rings but I wouldn't wear them, for fear of being termed a SCREAMING POOFTER. Mate, gnasher's having a bit of banter, chill out, it aint friday yet ?
  9. Got to be honest, I've NEVER been one for all this jewellery caper. Was all my mrs could do to get me to accept a very nice watch as a christmas present, which I don't wear, two years ago lol.
  10. G b, like I said to arry, I believe it's to do with the magnetism and your body's biorhythms. I wouldn't really know though, as I'm not really into science or biology to that degree.
  11. Pigeons navigate using magnetism. Pigeons are far more savvy than the average thl member. Don't diss the pigeons, yeah
  12. An old mate of mine had a collie/grey/bull/whippet used to do it, and bounce up and down between cover, if his view was obstructed lol
  13. I have indeed seen that picture mate, lovely looking pup. That's it with lurchers though I think, maybe some of that quirkiness, sensitive etc behaviour could 'possibly' come from certain sighthound parents in the pups breeding?
  14. As far as I can remember, it's the magnets working with your body's 'biorhythms' or something?
  15. So there 'could' be deerhound in there? So I was close, BOOM, YEAH ?
  16. Wheaten/greyhound/bull/deerhound
  17. I think that's probably the best way really mate. Find what type suits you and that you actually like, and stick with it if it's causing you no grief. I like dogs with a some collie in, but when I tried a dog with beardie collie in, well, the ceuunt did my head in more than he was a pleasure to own lol. And since him, I've seen a fair few with beardie in, and I'd not own one of them. I know there are people that say their beardie blooded dogs were/are fine, but are they 'really' just putting up with some of that 'quirky' behaviour? I know I did, just because mine was such a good catc
  18. Lol ?. Yeah a couple of dogs I owned in the past used to do that. Last couple of lurchers I owned were taller types. Was better for most of the land we lamped.
  19. Don't give a rat's bollock if they make it compulsory or not, me and my lot will NOT be having any covid vaccine. In the words of THL literary genius, barkingmadcampingbill, 'they can shove it up their auseholes'!!
  20. That 4/8, is that new lurcher 'jargon' for half cross ray? ?
  21. Dog aggression is one of my biggest gripes in any dog.
  22. My reply to loton moocher was based on what I've seen, owned, and experienced. I don't believe collie crosses are suited to the majority of lurcher owners. They certainly can be 'challenging' lol, especially as pups. I remember some of your posts about your dog. Why do you say he was a coward mate?
