  1. That's better than king's drawing of a lurcher. I could tell that is corn on the cob straight away ?
  2. Yeah, like when those commentators at crufts describe the sealyham terrier, for example as being 'fit for function'. ?
  3. Like twelsh said, get some belting 3/4 breds that are very capable.
  4. Exactly that mate. I agree with you about some of the guys on here, re ID ing wildlfe, brilliant, but I wouldn't call it a very wide section. I'd say it's a miniscule amount of the population that are really into their wildlife. Be great if one of them could capture something clearly definitive. A lot of those pics they put on here are professional standard.
  5. It's been said mate. Check out the thread when sutcliffe died a few weeks ago.
  6. I've said I believe it's easily possible for big cats to easily survive in this country, without being seen by practically anyone. Half the people on this site have seen little more than rabbits, hares, fox and/or some species of deer, and those animals are everywhere. Yet those same people are out in the counryside all the time.
  7. For god knows how many pages, and insults etc, on the big cat thread, there's been accounts, arguments, 'sightings' etc etc of 'something' NON NATIVE wandering around the british countryside, killing livestock etc, but there's still no real hard evidence, so many people claim. Just thought I'd play along with my jocular post. And I thought you'd get it. But you didn't lol. No big deal. And I know exactly what country and region every species of big, and medium sized cat come from ?
  8. Thought you were supposed to be 'sharp'? ?
  9. Wouldn't be too sure of that. Those caracals are pretty light on their feet
  10. There's help out there somewhere mate ?
  11. Be good to see some of these tried and tested types make a good comeback. I know there are some people that still keep and work these types, but most lads these days, unless they are really 'into' lurcherdome, for want of a better phrase lol, will mostly have had saluki and bull crosses thrust upon them. Anyway, just musing. ?
  12. A lot of that is down to uninformed owners overfeeding and under exercising their dogs. And people breeding the wrong types together. Still plenty of soundly bred, well put together staffs around.
  13. I remember reading about some of your exploits phil ?

    Babic

In my defense, I was on my 5th guinness when I made my post about babic. Haven't drank for a while, and it caught up with me rather quickly lol
  15. Several people on this forum have no respect at all for coons.

    Babic

Like I said, I don't think he'll go too far, he's not big enough or good enough. Massive difference between a prime mike tyson at his peak. The last few years of tyson's career, was like watching a different fighter, to when he was in his prime.

    Babic

Now, I'm not saying babic is the next heavyweight world champion BUT, he looks pretty useful. And let's not forget, mike tyson, at just over 15 stone, HAMMERED almost all his opponents when he was that weight.
  18. Would be the sort of litter I would've taken a pup from if conditions were favourable ?
  19. Yep, I've seen em ? Actually seen a pure beddy dog put to a pure whippet bitch. 8 pups, 2 smooth, the other 6 in between broken/rough coated.
