  1. as been said plenty of exercise and when feeding only a little bit of lean meat no fat until they weight drops off say half a chicken breast. when i feed my dogs i don't give them a set amount i look at each dog individually and feel them to see what their condition is like, then you'll now how much to feed.
  2. had something similar last season 5-6 foot of of rubble, corrugated sheets, glass, mesh, fire ash, we were lucky that we has a good result could have so easily have lost the bitch!
  3. Sorry for butting in but does anybody know if there are there any bird sales in south wales, there used to be one down in the new welsh game fair place once a month on a sunday, but that's finished?

  5. freezing does not affect them at!
  6. in the brochure it said 55mpg, but realistically you would be getting around the 45-50mpg mark, that's what attracted me as i do around 25k a year. I would like a 4x4 pickup but at 30mpg it would cost a fortune to run.
  7. get some of the rubber glue they use for waders or wet suits be ideal for wellies
  8. My lease is running out in the new year and i have been looking at these recently, seem to be getting good reviews, good off road with high 55mpg Anybody got one?

  15. Sorry to hear that - where were the breeders from (if you dont mind me asking?) the breeders we got ours from have offered us another pup for free, but I am unsure whether or not to go back to them? And what is putting me off is that I have seen some posts on here slating them. Apparently all the other pups are fine and they have had the bitch and sire checked - just unsure what to do now Up in Cheshire pm me if you want more detail
  16. . Shame but was it 6 or 7. If it got to that age think you got your money worth now a pup is a different matter athough losing a pet is upsetting it was just under a year old that i put it to sleep this happend 6-7 years ago
  17. Bought a pup of renowned Patteradle breeder 6-7 years ago that had to be put to sleep around that age due to a heart defect, had two separate vet reports sent to the man direct and he refused to give my money back for the dog. Full of promises when I bought the pup, if it doesn’t work bla, bla, bla, fetch it back ill give your money back in full. Learnt the hard way there, but there you go that’s life.
  18. where do i go to look at the ferry deals? Rob, Mail me at irishgamefair@btinternet.com and I will mail details. To be objective while Birr and Shanes are the largest fairs in their respective parts of Ireland all Irish fairs are substantially smaller than the major UK fairs. They would be somewhere between Galloway and Scone. But our prizes are equivalent to the best in the UK and we offer a very warm welcome to visitors. Hi Albert, I have just pm you with my email details. Thanks Rob

  25. what gets me is whats the point of taking a dog to a show then their owner knows that the judge will have no chance of handling them? and i have seen it at pretty much every show i have been two, and far by worst are the yappy lakelands which have only got to look at each other to get fighting! at one show seen one bloke constantly hitting his dog with a rolled up newspaper which if anything was making the dog duller? i cant imagine waht these dogs would be like in a working enviroment tied up at an earth? or are they just show ponies? As Bird said above i have a kelpi/collie bitch which due t
