    That’s not the point I was getting at but your right. what I was trying to get at with a bit of dry humour was any lurcher x bull x automatically becomes a bull x why not a collie bred lurcher or bedlington bred lurcher or a bitza how does it become a bull x I’ve seen bitzas with a drop of bull blood in them bred to other none discript types but still are classed as a bull x just because it has a small % of bull blood in them some of these dogs I’ve seen have more other type base blood in them ??

    To me just sounds a made up name to help brand to sell pups imo people have been adding a bit of base to coursing dogs for like ever there nothing more than a lurcher used for coursing I don’t think a f1 saluki x bull would make much of a competitive coursing dog against a saluki x greyhound bred for the job but put back a couple of times to Match dogs that’s when stuff will start to be produced that could be handy for matching but that’s only if the bull is ironed out enough as most heavily bred bull crosses turn like a battle ship an are not tight turning animals

    I used to love a Sunday chilled out ferreting session we used to do well down here on my old land plenty of work for a Few dogs now I recon one dog would get bored of just standing around with not a lot of action happening it’d been getting shiter an shiter for the last 4-5yrs down here so called it a day I ebayed my ferret finder off last year sold a load of nets to a local guy not that I really bothered using nets most were like new.     If you were closer I’ve a hob you could of had I’ve had the same line of ferrets a number of years decided to pack in ferreting last year got rid of all my Jill’s because ferreting down this ways a waist of time you waist a day ferreting for maybe 1 rabbit that’s how bad it’s got it’s not worth the hassle it’s dead time your get more sport with a lamp an dog trespassing rather than stood around waiting for a bolt down here on permission the poor c**ts not even had a days work this season as I’ve not felt the times worth waisting ??

    Used to use red an amber on a old blazerlite but use a variable lamp now so no need for a filter have it on low till the dogs slipper then flip it round to full power one running

    We had a couple of straight bedlingtons over a period of time they weren’t up to much they always looked busy but that was about it they didn’t last long as they weren’t pulling there weight at the time the only decent one we had was a none kc Bedlington/fell the thing was a demon wanted to catch an kill every thing above an below that dog was eventually given away to another fella as lamping came the main focus. If I was ever in the market for just a busher I’d probably avoid a bedlington unless I knew fact that they were out of decent proven busher bedlington types they have become very hit

    that’s bull shit mate they can’t confiscate the dog just on the ground you were wearing camo trousers that wouldn’t stand up in a court of law they can by law do a routine check at any time on you but a strip search at the station? what did they think you were doing stashing knives up your ass hole to be honest I’d get a solicitor involved mate that don’t sound correct at all if this was corrected that would mean any man/woman walking with a lurcher or running dog could have dogs taken from them based on there clothing alone

    Bet it did they like pulling our pants down with Cost of injuries fella but it’s only money in one hand out the other as they say it’s got to be done unfortunately with any thing more than miner injury I self treat most of my dogs for miner stuff I keep a very healthy supply of meta cam an some pretty strong antibiotics of various sorts With a pretty decent first aid kit if that was one of mine I’d be well out my depth.     Chicken wings /thighs are cheap an don’t take up no space in a freezer split the tray in to daily freezer bag rations they fit in small gaps in the freezer tin mackerel or sardines ,eggs lamb harts a tray of mince beef/lamb/pork if you only feeding as a additive to biscuits can stay un frozen for about 4 days sat in a fridge I mean if your only feeding as a additive to biscuits you don’t need to have a freezer to stock large amounts of raw for one dog if you do a weekly dog food shop for dog raw it’s only people with multiple dogs that buy in bulk from suppliers to get a better price per kg of
