That’s the problem these days mick finding them bred from the right stuff a lot of beddys are talked up An produce nothing more than rabbits dogs with poor coats I like bedlingtons hybrids but I don’t think I could bring my self to own a f1 bedlington greyhound the gamble not for me id rather someone else do the foot work with f1 if a good hard bred one pops up that’s worked regular on more than rabbits I’m naturally interested in that dog I’m not interested in magic names in the f1s breeding I’m only interested in can it do the job master of none type taker of all

I’ve found a horse long lines always a good call as the dog can be free but you still have a form of control if need be till you’re happy that the dog/pups not going to act the twat an be completely free roaming

Never used to bother stock breaking my dogs because on the land I used to run I never used to encounter any stock being arible land only ferrets an chickens that I used to keep my self went for years with ever out bothering stock breaking my dogs I was lucky with my old bitch she was never formal broken she learned on the job An never shown no interest in them on a few spots I used to drop on.any dog I have now has to be stock broken because I’ve moved location to land we’re there’s plenty of stock about my white bitch works through sheep no problem the pup I’ve not worked through sheep ye

I’ve not got time to get bored mate I thought after I’d done the kennels it’d be a case of putting my feet up an chilling out with the dogs but my misses had other ideas she wanted to claim my back room in my house an turn in in to a dining room the back room was my little work shop I use for doing bits an bobs Just finished turning the other half of that big shed/kennel in to my work shop she’s adamant to get me started on the back room to a dining room but unlucky for her all the local diy stores are closed ??But that hasn’t stopped her giving me orders on what she wants doing to the gardens
