    A big area of the dales has hardly any rabbits.....even there the rabbits have been getting less and less. Sure, there's pockets of them where there's loads, but i think we'll see even these contract and vanish over the next decade... well said theres an awefull huge area there with no bunnies on , pockets as you say , i know of a place with 1000s on but nearly as many keepers watching over it

    do any plans actually cover dental problems ?? a lady i know paid in for years only to find when she went in she was told dental are not covered she was very angry

    i allways get some stick for this but one day i reckon a close season is on the cards ,its ok for the lucky lads who have protected spots on private farms/estates & the dales. but the common ground rabbit is in serious decline , ferreting over the years the areas produce less & less numbers you can only kill them once ,but with everything against them these days & nights there can only be one outcome

    i did a circular walk about 6 miles in the week through once infested rabbit woods ,my dogs only hunted up 1 . sad very sad

    i hooked a 53 lber as i brought in to land ... a huge mother fecker grabbed it & tried to eat it

    first time i set up an old fella said give me £60 for 15 canaries ..... i did .. fecker sold me old fecked birds even 1 had one leg scabby old birds i trusted him as he was my friends dad .. well & truly shafted i was , i learned pretty quickly after that ,

    no probs then you know what you are doing thats fine ,im thinking rats ,but just to be sure have a mooch with the torch/lamp just to check rabbit numbers

    11 of us went on lake nasser fishing for nile perch ... 9 of us had the real bad shizzies for months i was at the hospital back in blighty ..... never eat that foreign food lol

    i hope your not putting snares in the same fields as horses ? is the run a series of hops(beats) more than a straight runline ? make sure they are rabbit holes (rats also use them too ) i would take a look at night with torch/lamp too

    as i havnt worked for a long time ,my mrs gives me £20 a week that goes in diesel ive nowt left then , lol im the slowest driver on the road now & knock it out of gear on every downhill slope , (dangerous i know but within reason ) a fiver to me now is like £50 im so carefull
