    spot on mate. Seriously,1/4 is plenty mate,and collie types can be the worst sheep worriers strangely enough,no guarantees that a dog with plenty of collie will automatically be safe with sheep,the answer to sheep worrying is early training of any cross.

    tbh i think the landlord was ripping the piss a bit mate. Maybe? his beer sales definatly went up that week,but 5 murders that week aint good is it,probably a gang related thing. I worked in East Germany with these lads just after the wall came down,full of Nazis all ex Russian army soldiers,armed to the teeth and a rough bunch,still they said it was safer than Glasgow,ill take their word for it mate.

    The lads mentioned had worked in some of the worst places you could imagine,abroad and here,some veterans of the gulf/falklands..ect and non of them a soft touch,the lanlord of the hotel told them "theres a fair chance you will be killed if you go in the local boozers" Good advice i think.

    I used to be a wandering bricklayer,been in some shitty places abroad and over here,the saddest,drug infested place ive ever worked was Bury,the place was depressing. Somebody mentioned Rotherham/Donny,youv'e led a sheltered life mate if you think these qualify,i live in one and work in the other,apart from the immigrants in Roth and a few areas in Donny its paradise compared to most of the other places mentioned,some mates worked in Glasgow a few years back,they couldnt leave the hotel at night,5 murders in the area in the week they were there.

    Ive had working dogs for 37 years,i can tell you every dog ive had,what each dog was like and its a fairly small amount of dogs for such a long time,but i never bought hastily or on a whim,allways gave thought to what i needed /wanted before breeding/buying,if more people "gave it proper thought" there wouldnt be so much "shite" or unwanted pups about.

    My cousins neighbour,a teacher,had a minature poodle x terrier,we used it for bushing and it was a good dog,even had a good turn of speed over a short distance,my cousins grandma had a grew which we used,but my first real working dog was a Lakeland terrier,1973.

    Most of the truly racist incidents i hear about these days are asian/muslim attacks on whites/non muslims,but when their "religion" condemns everyone exept muslims what do you expect? It doesnt help when our authorities are racially bias either,the muslims round here are teflon coated,unless the police are forced into it they wont arrest/prosecute them at all. I know were just a bunch of sheep,a commodity to be abused and used by the ruling class,but importing forein labour from a backward culture isnt the answer to changeing the way it is,like it or not it just creates more divisions

    I took my dog out today and later I spotted a fox. of course he spotted me first haha he just froze in front of the rock , he was 30-40 meter away from me, on a hill and I could see a brown thing in front of a rock and im thinking what is that is it a branch it just looked funny becasue of the shape of it and it was brownish, I stopped walking and tried to look harder seconds later it walked slowly to the left , my dog was already running around the hill searching for fox or rabbits, than the fox spotted my dog and it freaked out and did a U turn and bolted than went down for the rocky place

    When my fatherinlaw was dying in hospital a few years ago he had to die on a public ward with curtains drawn round his bed,my wifes family had no real privacy when he died,lo and behold ALL the private rooms were occupied by muslims,i saw some of them walking around their rooms,seemingly with little wrong with them? And the pratt who said "take a look round hospitals at the docs/nurses" i say to you mate,have a look at the aims of the "muslim doctors association" its online,twats like you helped to get us in this mess.

    Personally mate they are 2 of the last x's i would want to own,having seen both types at their job. Collie x grey f1's are very limited and whippet x grey are ussually a bit accident prone,both have their uses i suppose but theres much better x's than either in my opinion. I know you get the odd exeption to the norm in most breeds [before anyone jumps down my throat] but for every exeption theres hundreds that follow the norm.

    The dog did really well find them. Yes there was feathers pulled out, not many mind you. I've looked at Birds post/photos, you'll be surprised how a lurchers mouth can be very soft. Not much surprises me anymore after 40 years of hunting with dogs,only the people that do it ussually
