  1. Well i dont see it as moaning kyle, notice this is in "general talk" a place by definition that we can discuss other topics unrelated to hunting,or did i miss something? If you arent interested in the subdject of immigration..ect its simple, dont f.....n read them. Just another subtle attempt at censorship by the looks of it,well we had a vote last year on whether these kind of topics should be allowed mate, still on arent they,d Democracy at its finest
  2. Milbro's dont suit everybody,if you can get the nack with them though they are small and handy. I have a lurcher mate, very similar to the one in your avatar, hes a mix of whipp/grey with collie and bedlington in his makeup,he works well with me and the catty.
  3. Nice to see you jmp,i know youve been doing pretty well lately, and with chains/pebbles
  4. Years ago i saw a very small brindle terrier, small but strong without being a minature staffy is the best way i could describe it,i asked a mate if he had ever seen the type and he said although he had'nt seen them for a good while they were fairly common at one time, most likely the 1960's and early 70's,no doubt the blood was absorbed into some strains of fell/patterdale types, maybe your dog has some of these genes? If your bitch is pretty leggy you could be right and the brindle comes from a whippet somewhere in the breeding? which in turn would come from staffy somewhere down the line
  5. Well Mike at least some other lads might think twice now before buying the 6mm for hunting
  6. Got mine off ebay, but the blokes dissapeared for some reason? Other than that Bells of Hythe sell it,bit pricey though from them. The 6mm red is pretty good stuff,a few lads i know prefer it to the black 6mm.
  7. If they dont comment on this they should'nt comment on any of the muslim orientated threads simple. Just makes me think they are muslim or the professional appeasers that appear on most sites, part of the propoganda machine? And when they do appear on some other thread i suggest we ask their opinions on this subdject and why none of them commented?
  8. You would'nt get to much for it Carl, they go on ebay for about £10 or £20 tops,i would keep it and use it as it is mate, especially as it was your grandads, the real early milbros are crap and made from a cheap zinc alloy,i dont think yours is that early though and is aliminium, probably the best ones really.
  9. Well it dont look like any of our own muslim supporters are going to comment on this one? Mind you i would'nt want to try and justify the different sentances,or to put it another way,"explain how burning a quran is a bigger insult than insulting our war dead" people who laid down their lives for freedom.
  10. Just proves the point that they are treated differently to us,maybe one of our resident muslim defenders would like to explain why the sentances are differnt for the same crime??? What a f.....g joke this country has become.
  11. Hes turned out a belter mate, fair play for trying something different
  12. Jack,my cattys in the pics mate,a bog standard old milbro and a reproduction one for spare, you can get them off ebay, just punch in "milbro catapults" and they should come up. Nice headshot bushwacker, bet it didnt know what hit it
  13. I rekon ive got a good balance on the laccy/shot
  14. Hi Jack, Im using .457 lead balls, make them myself with a Lee mould, about 11.5mm in diameter and 140grains. These in the pic. For the best results mate, you need to use a weight of ball suited to your elastic, ill take accuracy over raw power any day.
  15. The smart lads understand how to read a dog,and know how to act when the dog is reading them, most "dog men" i know are winging it,the best i know are still teaching me things after ive been at it for 40 years.
  16. Ive owned one very good white bitch and seen a good few white dogs that were good honest workers, the only down side with them is they do tend to stand out more in daylight, only a problem if you arent on permission i suppose though, black dogs [my current dog is black]also seem to stand out just as much as a white in daylight.
  17. My lad had some 6mm steel from ebay,i wouldnt use it on live game myself mate,if ammo is to light for the elastic it cant absorb and therefore impart energy efficiently,it will probably penetrate quite well, but another side effect of light ammo/strong elastic is loss of accuracy. You wont be hunting using an efficient set up Mike i can assure you of that. This pidgeon was shot at around 45ft high using .457 lead roundball and a fairly soft 7mm black square elastic [red kite] i think your 6mm steel would bounce off at that range? yis steve.
  18. Waste of time for hunting mate, not heavy enough to absorb the energy delivered by the bands, makes them unstable/innacurate as well, not fair to use these on live game really, you can get 10.5mm on ebay if you look hard enough, still to light for hunting though in my opinion.
  19. Terrible tragety,for everyone affected,R.I.P
  20. After watching the computers i tend to agree, music is dead.
  21. Nice dogs Garry,i went down the hard dog to sensible dog route myself years ago,it worked for me
  22. Well it seems my reply has been pulled ideation, shame because there was a lot of truth in there,i wont agree to disagree on this one mate, youre right i wont change my views anyway,of them or you.
  23. Well i poach mate, not very often anything i do is legal to be honest,so no amount of bans will bother me much, just pisses me off when shooters are all "high and mighty" over the odd pheasant or duck..ect,but yet ive seen them posting pics of dogs/vixens on this very forum and thinking its clever, like i said double standards. Our local keeper has given out 20 lots of written permission to his mates and they have decimated everything on the ground round here,in season or not,and legal or not, people who live in glass houses should'nt throw stones mate.
  24. All the "do-gooders" are to blame for most of the problems we have today. When some kid is a bad apple it seems that "its not their fault" nobody these days is made to face the fact they are responsible for their own actions,i had a relative that worked as a child social worker, talking to her and her friends it was easy to see how this mess happened. I beleive violence begets violence and dont really agree with teachers being allowed to hit kids, but the kids these days know they cant be touched and it gives them a free hand to act up. I grew up on a council estate in the 60's 70's
  25. Well Ideation lets please not pretend that these people (Your typical Muslim) are some beacon of moral decency! We're looking at honour killings, women having to cover up in case a man can't control his sexual urges (which he isn't to blame for apparently) Forced marriages, Violence against women, circumcision! and so on and so fourth. I'd also say that the girls that are going out doing the things you mentioned aren't cultured at all, they must be lacking in many of the sound fundamentals that are in the make up of a normal happy decent kid for one reason or another. it's a real shame.
