Personally i think communism is a great idea in principal, shame it just doesn't work. Take Russia, communism at its most extreme really, took them years to knock it in the head,i just dont understand why some people still think it will ever work [maybe im smoking the wrong stuff?] youv'e had your example, its been done and failed miserably, what more do you want? As for the cuts, its a fact that the labour councils are making the biggest cuts, some bloke was on tv a couple of weeks ago with the stats proving it,trying to make the coalition look bad and at the same time cutting the shite out

I find it amusing that Americans go nuts over our royalty? They are just expensive figurheads these days i suppose, nothing clever about having to support them financially to my mind? And ironically a lot of modern day Americans will be more Anglo-Saxon genetically than our royal family. Ill give it a miss.

Some very nice dogs there lads, allways had a soft spot for Russell types

Here you go Ian, My air source, very simple to make. The flowerpot set in the drum, bloody thing weighs a ton. The round steel plate fits on a lip at the bottom of the flowerpot,it creates an "air chamber" and the air then distributes evenly through the fire above it,im sure this makes a difference. Hope that helps mate.

Not sure ive read it right? but the daughters 8,mom is 34 and dad died 4 years ago aged 83? so the mom was shagging a 75 yr old when she was 26? and now shes being allowed to inject her child with botox? This is so f....d up i cant beleive it She wants sectioning or a good kick in the c..t or both.

Hi Ian, Its pretty simple to be honest mate, you want a thickish walled flowerpot about a foot high, with a drainage hole in the bottom, got mine from B&Q. Find a steel drum a bit bigger than the flowerpot and encase the flowerpot inside the drum in a strong sand/cement mix, dont forget to cut a hole in the bottom of the steel drum and line it up with the drainage hole in the bottom of the flowerpot. When the cement is dried hard sit the drum on a few bricks so you can fit the end of the air hose underneath,i made the end fitting from 22mm copper pipe with a bend in it,i use bbq br

Some nice looking terriers there lads, makes me want to come out of retirement just looking at them

You dont really need fire bricks mate, you could use a decent clay flowerpot and rig up the air flow from an air bed inflator, ive made a flowerpot furnace and can melt copper in it easily, hope that helps.

A mates got a wheaton/grey x saluki/whippet grey, early days at 18 months but she seems to have plenty of potential,no lack of brains or kill, she often gets mistaken for a deerhound x,be interesting to see how she turns out next season.

Seems like ive misread some of the posts, the very mention of trenching makes my blood boil having suffered the destruction of some really good earths over the years by trenchers. The best bit of advice i was ever given regarding location was,"dig to the bump" if you locate the vibration of the dog/fox sparring with each other your'e never far away. The best method is to lay on the ground and cover your head with your coat to dampen any background noise, sometimes its easy to hear sometimes you feel a slight vibration with your hand/foot depending on depth, when you get far enough down to crou

Well saying things like Lucas/Chapman trenched looks like advocating trenching to me? Poking at entrances with sticks? must be "short tubes where you come from mate? Listening at entrances is very very limited in its effectivness. And i started digging well before locators were available. My view is, if you have the massive advantage of pinpoint accuracy [with a locator] you should use it,nothing clever about losing a good dog because you want to arse about doing things "traditionally" Theres nothing wrong with practiceing traditional "finding skills" sometimes technology

Ive read some f****n bullshit on this forum in my time but i think some of this takes the biscuit. "TRENCHING" buy some golf clubs and do us a favour. ps if youre after fox theres nothing better than a windy day.
-
is this a wind up No its not a wind up? wtf looks like a wind up about it? 1 block .440 x .215 x 100= 44 linear meters if theres plenty of drains on his ground they are there because the land needs artificial help to drain,or do farmers waste money round your way putting useless drains in? And i know of artificials that do flood in very wet weather, dont know who built them theyr'e old,and possibly they didnt flood years ago,bit of a waste though all that hard work for them to flood. Maybe you should stop banging your head on that wall, doesn't look like you could afford
-
200 breeze gives you 44 linear meters of tunnel to go at,easily enough for a 3 entrance earth, better still 2 smaller earths, dont put it/them where they might flood, sounds obviouse but the water table can be just under the surface in some areas, and if theres plenty of drains its a fair bet they aren't there for nothing.

Chocolate is poisnous to dogs, not that one mars bar will do any harm, you can buy glucose powder from any chemist for peanuts, handy to bring a dog round and helps if one goes into shock.

Are we even sure the smithfield lurcher really existed? its likely somebody used a drovers dog to produce lurchers, maybe even a drover that took stock to smithfield market,as for them becoming a recognised type i doubt it,im sure some nutjob on here will have the genuine article though? As for "still running one" the real droving collies died out because of the railways, weve had rail transport a long time mate,if you beleive some people their dogs still contain mythical smithfield blood, its bullshit.

This should be good

My lads just improvised a steamer from a length of drainage pipe and a steam wallpaper stripper, works a treat, just block the ends of the pipe up leaving a small hole for the exess steam to escape.
-
I had one that fitted ocassionally, never when working though? Some other pups in the same litter did it as well so im guessing it was herditeary? I took him to the vets once after a fairly bad fit and the vet rekoned a mild bout of distemper when young could cause fits in later life,he never had distemper to my knowledge. Doubt it will be easy to find the cause, maybe a blood sugar level test at the vets could be worth a go?

All well and good saying "they dont represent all muslims" but the only muslims to stand up and condemn this poppy burning were token apologists,mp's and some muslim organisation leaders,if ordineary muslims disagree with this poppy burning insult why haven't they protested loudly and clearly, like a good few British people did against the iraq/afgan war??? Muslims never protest against other muslims comitting acts of treason/terrorism? conclusion.....the vast majority agree with these acts. We cant even wear a Union Jack T shirt without some copper asking you to cover up for fear
