  1. You've also just got to look at the Militia Scene in the USA to realise just how much of a bad idea it really is . . . . . . .
  2. There is the another point. People make mistakes. How many good people on here have commited a crime in the past, not a violent crime, but maybe a spot of B&E or burglary etc. I'm sure there are those on this site that made mistakes and did it when they were a kid. . . . . and i bet they are glad no one shot them dead for it. Once you start allowing people to happily shoot folk coming onto their property it's a slippery slope. Now i know that this country is rapidly getting worse and falling to bits, but in my opinion allowing a form of vigilante rule where people begin to arm themsel
  3. When will people realise that letting folk carry guns about for personal protection DOES NOT reduce gun crime. If you look at the countries such as the USA that allow their citizens to legally carry a gun and shoot home invaders, they tend to have a very high rate of gun crime. People will always want to rob people, crime will always happen. Yes home owners can defend themselves against the robber because they have a gun. . . . . but seeing as the robber knows this - when he jacks your car / house etc then he usually comes packing a gun also. So you get a shotgun, then they get a machine gun.

    NOT NORMAL

    You drink WKD . . . . . .are you a 13 year old girl?
  5. Did he sell the dog on then mate? Any idea which area it might have gone to?
  6. And i surgestyou learn the site pal before you rant! There are a lot of lads on here who do the hunting from 4x4, And they arent gypo's... There are many posts about it and reasons why! Come on RUss mate - you know what he's saying. You can defend travellers all you like and there are good and bad in all groups. But when it comes to running dogs they are a major source of problems, not all of them but a large number. Its fine to get all offended by what folk say but if so then the 'good' travelers should sort out the 'bad'. It's like when a dog gets stolen and people know its someone
  7. Take him out a bit feckin more on a serious note is there any tried and tested ways of getting a dog too mark or do some just not grasp it atb meg Stick your finger up its bum lol watch i dont stick my finger up your bum goldilocks and stay off my mountain I'll set my ferrets on you
  8. Home made and then matured in rum barrels for a special kick
  9. Right so we would be better off without ALL non native wildlife would we? Think before you speak. Some of us quite like having - fallow deer, muntjac deer, Chinese water deer, Sika deer, Rabbit, Hare, not to mention the countless species of foreign ducks, pheasants, quail, geese etc etc.
  10. And there was me thinking they looked lovely to net. Well done steve and the lads

  12. You got to remember that in Kazakstan etc they use Salukis to hunt every f*****g thing including boar.
  13. Been out with a well bred coursing bitch that took rabbit/hare/fox/deer day and night and was taken ferreting regularly as well. She did the job very well until she was f*****g stolen.
  14. Depends how their dog is behaving, if its the first time i clock them, and then how they behave toward me when i ask who they are etc (in a nice way).
  15. Lots do it. But unless your have ultimate control over the dog then you will end up looking the c**t when a rabbit/fox gets up and runs. They have their place tho!
  16. Calm down, stay sensible and get them over a barrel legally. Much more satisfying and what they do not expect.
  17. I agree with that 100% I've been out with lads who constantly call a dog back to a hole once they've moved on from it. Drives me dull because all they're doing is teaching the dog bad habits.. One thing you don't want is a dog that will false mark at any old hole. They've got a far better idea of what's going on down there than we have, no matter how likely looking the hole.. Don't praise for marking as well cos it can encourage false marks etc. Exposure is the only teacher and maybe another dog.

  19. Contradict yourself there a bit mate, you make your point about terriers,so wouldn,t he be better off getting another type to "get what he wants" eg collie type He might not get what he wants but would greatly increase his chances, horses for courses No messing jmo Sorry mate i think you misunderstand. We were talking lurchers. I mentioned that terriers are pretty likely to dig which isn't great but with lurchers you never can tell, it's down to the dog. The dog in question is a collie x like megpshyco says Sorry I don,t think I misunderstood, surely if you want a lurcher which
