  1. would be interesting to find anyone using this search method, but usually these searches do not reveal more important 'put off factors' such as can you be seen or are you suppoesd to be on there, also as already mentioned the amount of quarry or lack of,still maybe someone has used this and can enlighten us,personally i prefer the hands on 'reccy' aproach! You can't beat first hand observation, Higgins.

  3. Looking for a decent pair of trousers like moleskins or similar, that are reccomended for all round protection, mainly damp and thick brambles/cover,warm and lightweight, something you can wear day in and out,but can give them some stick and after a wash they will still look in good condition, can anyone suggest the best type please, thanks, Higgins.

  6. that must have taken you into the realms of incognito self awareness, the bit that you think why do i do it?There must be a question in your mind that is trying to find out why you drink in the first place.I expect this topic will continue for a long time,as many seemingly 'ordinary' people binge drink(and i must include myself in this category,i say anyone who has a sip of ANY alcoholic drink and has a good feeling from it,in my mind is an alcoholic OR POTENTIAL ALCOHOLIC , full stop!)You are not alone, but the fact that you have recognised your own shamefullness in what drink does to you,is a

  9. Can only sell 10 a week get £3 each at an organic farm shop he sells them for£5.50 But I get a £1 every where else.Won't eat them myself.Berkshire. I think they'll be selling for good money in a bit if the current financial crisis gets worse, Higgins.
  10. can you give us more details such as the conditions in their environment and general health /well being, what exactly was fed to them, any small observation you can remember will help,it's odd that they seemed fine one day and dead the next.Try to remember any details as even the most unimportant detail may hold a clue, and i'm sure someone will suss it out for you, sorry you lost them mate, Higgins.
  11. it happens a lot with certain bitches, the best way to get round this is to muzzle the bitch or wrap bandage round her muzzle so she can't bite the stud,it's best with two of you ,one holding the bitch while the other encourages the stud to mate, the important part is to get your timing right ,hope it works out , Higgins.

  18. Hi I haven't taken the tape measure to it, but it's a little under 4ft deep and 6ft wide. However, because of the roof overhang, that makes the roof space around 6ft by 6ft. It's probably about 5.5 ft high, or a little more. As for dismantling, I really don't know how easy, or difficult it will be. The sides, back and front are attached to the base with nails (not screws). can't remember exactly how many, but 3 or 4 in each. The roof was nailed on also. These were the fixing that came with it when I bought it. have sent a pm to you regarding location, thanks, Higgins.
  19. Diggermad can you put some some pics up,i'm sure a few lads on here could tell you whether it was a genuine wild polecat, also could you tell us where you caught him as the geographical location might tie in with historical data, thanks, Higgins.
  20. agree with undisputed,i once caught a very large polecat which must have escaped very shortly before i captured him,and i couldn't get near to him to pick up,i eventually bagged him but he just couldn't be handled, this was probably a domesticated ferret let loose for a short while,i'm sure a genuine 'wild polecat' would be even more hostile than this, Higgins.
