  10. Nice going mate. Terriers look well. Love shooting over dogs,my mate had a lurcher that after a month of working with the gun was doing realy well there was time shed nock stuff out to far a head but she was around 3 1/2 when introduced to gun so wasn't fully trained to it.
  11. There's wanting to go to ground and then there's staying to ground.....seen plenty terriers fly to ground like a scud missile only to turn tail when the bump into something in the dark
  12. ... 15 week (I think) and just shy 12tts
  13. Do you think a small gwp put to a leggy pat will produce more of a busher for someone who works them to a lurcher rather than a gun.? A half cross or something maybe with abit of other stuff in the mix also? I think this cross would have a good size, coat, build, and also have the stamina and drive to work larger quarry abroad..
  14. I'm liking the idea of a pointer cross more and more.defo something I'm going look in to in the future. I in this mite sound like a stupid Q but what is sh like with hard thick cover ? Will she push in on her own ow will she point from outside ?
  15. That's a beaut that is mate. He looks spit mine looks longer in the leg than mine.
  16. ..truth be told how many people on this site lost there virginity at the legal age? I bet half didn't ..truth is girls and boys are becoming sexually active a a lot younger age which is going t lead to a lot of young lads on a sex offenders list.....but there is a lot of people on there who do des ever been on there and also deserve the Gentiles removed
  17. Please expand, Thanks, ian think the braided becomes a problem on hawks when there crashing in to brambles and thorns. Think a while ago I read a post ( not sure if on here or iff ) that when there Harris crashed in to brambles and thorns after a rabbit the braided nylon jesses got tangled on thorns which left the bird unable to move.
  18. Cracking bit a ground there mate dogs look top notch especially the Pom.smallest dog there but I bet it thinks it's a fecking lion lol
  19. This. I make a 'nick' in the fur and get my fingers in. Then I only need a knife for removing it's head. Then same nick again; tear open belly; and gut. Simples. Practically no knife used. That's ok until you need to do 50 plus rabbits then you will need a good knife ... Oh and you don't need a knife to take the head off .......... I. Lucky get 50 in a full season..... Lol
  20. Snow must be bad up your way it's a white out .....
  21. Clamp, epoxy, sandpaper, wood file, saw, wood spade drill bit, a decent size hazel shank ,a decent antler piece, and a lot of patience
  22. Any recent pics of your dog mate.? What are you planning on putting to her if/when you do. I like the look of the pointers a lad I new had a pointer cross what he worked under a hawk and also the gun. The dog would point when working with the hawk untill told to get on but when rough shooting and working hedge and brambles the dog would just bush. Was a good strong dog with plenty of nose and plenty of drive unfortunately the dog was a Jaffa
