  3. Taking trout with lures is good fun but bread on a size 6 hook allways seems to single out the biggest ones for me. And there's allways the chance of a grayling aswell. Out of interest what's the biggest any if you lads have had on a lure/spinner ?
  4. There's only one way to be sure and that's to get one over here and have a run. But that said I don't think gooduns have to learn how to run anywhere they just KNOW if that makes any sense. Atb

  18. most show bred ridgebacks wouldnt get near a myxi rabbit let alone a healthy daytime roe. ive heard that the cowlick on there back is due to inbreeding but dont know how true it is.
  19. in my opinion lamping rabbits and hares on the right ground most mutts of all shapes and size can do it . it takes a better dog to kill consistentley in the daytime be it rabbits or hares.
  20. fairplay to you mate lol most of the old school lurchermen round here are right grumpy feckers.
  21. my 3/8 5/8 dog thought this dog was going to not be all that fast but he proved me wrong last night.
  22. Its not the size of the dog its the size of its heart And yes not all but the right ones entered properly. wrong combo of both if they aint got the size cant do job in hand. heart obviosly helps them stay/ commit How big does a dog have to be to handle a fox which on average is say 14lb's.....a small bull/whip is going to be double that. If you get a dog thats bred well you'd be surprised what they're capable of.A lot of these dogs are popular these days because they don't look like the dick extensions that a lot of bull x lads crave..........in this day and age with this stu
  23. very canny dogs. they need plenty of graft to keep them occupied . . . .
