  1. They are probably worried the inland revenue will get to see how much cash they take and how much they declare in there tax return. Add to that it may flag up all kinds of subversive talk, fraud, grooming etc. And it wont do their smack dealing business any good either will it
  2. No in all the years I have been shooting air rifles, I have never experienced such pellet fussy behaviour, I too will not be changing either mate!!!
  3. I really like the ace, and they are very very accurate rifles,I have had innova's and ace, the probem with the innova is that to pump it you had to push against the scope, which always ended badly, but the ace, cracking rifle, I have shot lots of rabbits and other stuff with an ace over the years.
  4. Interesting I bought a .177 Cometa Lynx a couple of months back, and I loved everything about it as soon as I opened the box, but at first I was struggling to find a pellet it liked, it shot ok with superdomes, ok with ftt etc but after reading how accurate these rifles are I was not impressed to say the least, then I remembered I had a few Bisley mags, OMG, the difference was startling to say the least, ragged one hole groups at 40 yards instantly, and in the couple of months or so I have owned it, it has put more game in the bag than my .22 rimfire has in a year interesting that two diff
  5. Nice rifle mate, take it back and swap it for a .177
  6. You can get the power up to just under 12ftlbs with a .177 99s, but you will GENERALLY have to change the spring, as the standard spring produces around 10.5ftlbs in .177 the imp is tuned using a very short spring, and as said with .22 being more efficient than .177 it will not make the power, even the .22 imps are only producing around 10.6ftlbs when new but I expect will creep up to around 11ftlb with use,the trade off of course with putting a better spring in the .177 is it becomes snappier, however use the expensive Ultimox 226 ptfe grease, on your .177 after tuning, top hat, polish, etc,
  7. .243 is good for any animal you wish to kill in the uk including big red stags, you do not NEED anything else, and .243 shoots with a much flatter trajectory than .308, so is far better for lamping charlie.
  8. Rich how much did you say you paid for your Dog License last year ?? Errrr .....I have a all in one licence , covers me for the dogs , also covers me for taking game , fishing , driving you name it , it covers me ...bought it off a man in a pub in Wales ...he was the landlord so he obviously knows whats what .. 9. The only one looking good is the wan*er who has received undisclosed damages, pdsd my arse, what a pedantic little pri*k.
  10. Good job they did not leave Dresden as it was after we fire bombed it then eh Joe? Cos there would be nothing there except charred bodies and smoking ruins, it was of course necessary, but in war it is always the innocent who suffer most, the German people are our kin folk, we are Germanic, how sad we had to fight them.
  11. lol What are you loling about? they do give us a bad name? real travelling people keep their homes crystal clean and wouldn't dream of living in a caravan covered in graffiti with some hippy shit written all over it, I have some not far from me and everyone says oh yeah do you live in the double decker bus up on Leeds road covered in graffit and every colour of the rain bow and presumes these people are true bred gypsy people when they ain't, maybe I should take time to go and talk to them and ask them why they do it and maybe I'll get along with them but I don't consider them gypsy people
  12. Typical know it all, who knows fu*k all, has he actually got a ticket, or is that bo**ocks as well?
  13. If memory serves, I think sp primers burn a little hotter than sr, you could try them, but if you do, start from minimum charge and work up, as they could easily put you over pressure, not as likely with lil-gun as maybe h110, but caution is advised all the same.
  14. If you can stretch to 350 ish my mate is selling a very nice .22 Daystate harrier, with nice scope and silencer, all ready to go, he is just outside Chesterfield.
  15. Nice one Donna, do you notice a great difference in taste between them and wild rabbit?

  17. No worries bud, looks a nice rifle that, hope its what you want
  18. None really mate, unless you are in the military, notwithsanding some sniper rifles, the military prefer chrome moly steel.
  19. If you go for a polish and de-burr, rather than something more involved, put some Quantum hot sauce grease on the piston and round the seal it is amazing stuff, you wont need any power washers with this go faster grease, and yes it is totally diesel free, obviously as with any lube, none in front of the piston.
  20. Hw 35 is a superb rife as are all the HW range, tuned they will hold their own against most anything, the part you need is the cylinder, Ebay will probably be a good starting point.
