charlie caller replied to yorkshire's topic in General Talk
Actually they are not, Frigg is a Saxon goddess, and Thursday relates to Thunor, the Englisc Anglo Saxon variants of the Norse gods. wrong Thor's day and Fria's day No thats Thunnors day and Friggs day, thanks for your input, however poorly informed. -
If you are reloading Dan, Sierra grain blitz, they will do everything you want of them, from 400yard crows to a Roe at 250, very good bullet indeed.

So come on let's here it, what's your races, original beleif, your words. Let's discuss something else for a change. Ok a little clue for you, what are most of the days of the week named after? You guessed it the original Englisc Germanic gods. OK so I'm guessing your a pagan, ffs, so you beleive in Thor, Hercules etc all these Gods; f the afterlife, an you've the cheek to slag Christians, when you beleive in multiple Gods, with human sacrifice daily, an your saying the bible is false lol Your knowledge of the old gods is quite astounding, Hercules Germanic god eh? I have made qui -

And I suppose you are going to come out with some startling new evidence to prove virgins have babies are you, or perhaps walking on water is possible? Really how anyone can be taken in by such hogwash is beyond me, but then to be fair that is what Christianity teaches,BLIND FAITH, and not to question anything, as to do so is blasphemy,I genuinely wish you well, and if belief in some imposter religion from overseas gives you comfort, then fair play, I will stick with the original beliefs of my own race, but good luck, all the same -
Bible Questions For Francie And Anyone Else With An Opinion

Don't think so Charlie, of course it was written by humans, at least your not saying monkeys, an by the way it was the apostles who wrote the new testament, not Jesus, so if you wrote this book would your mates back you up an call you the son of God an be willing to die for it, I think not, very weak argument. Again no evidence to prove bible wrong, just your opinion., Weak argument my arse,by dint of the fact that as you readily admit, it was written by humans, call them apostles or zombie spider monkeys, they remain HUMANS, and so filled the little story book with materiel that sui -

You are wasting your time pal, I have this argument over and over with xtian friends, etc and not one of them can contradict the fact that the "book" was written by humans, I could write a book and claim to be the son of god, and there would probably be some idiots that believed me, its a rule book to control the masses, nothing else. -

Not directly, I grant you, however the roman empire turned/became Xtian in a relatively short time, this change was borne of expediency, as the old empire crumbled, new ways of controlling power were looked at, Constantine was the first Xtian emperor, however it was not until around 380ad that Theodosis decreed that all romans should be Xtian,at that time the end was in sight, so clever forward thinking Romans had to adopt new tactics to stay on top, the end came in 476ad,( Briton of course had been abandoned to her fate in 410ad,) when Germanic tribes finally seized Rome and destroyed the la -
You will find it hard to get a round the .222 does not like, my first choice would be, Federal,Hornady, best of all buy some re-loading gear and create your own super accurate ammo.

You see the thing is chaps the old bible was written by HUMAN BEINGS, and so they put exactly what they wanted in it, a fantastic and very well thought out way of subjugating the common people, and making them bend under the heel of the new Roman empire, simple as that, shite. -
Ok I have been shooting air rifles for near on 35 years, I have seen it all (nearly) in my humble opinion, a .177 calibre accurate rifle,is nearly as good as a .22 rf, and yes I do own both, my personal limit is 40 yards with an air rifle, the advantage an air rifle has over a .22rf is shooting at an elavated position, IE trees, % of the time I will reach for the air rifle over the .22rf, what does that say about modern air rifles,

Worth a go I suppose, you never know, out of interest what does your 99 prefer? so far in mine it would appear, tight fitting light pellet, = power, consistency, accuracy, heavy or loose fitting = crap power and consistency
-
Yes very, they were 5.6, very accurate, and very consistent, if I can find something readily available that performs as well I will end the search and stick to them
-
Thats the thing mate, they were the original wasps, my mate has got tins of allsorts from across the decades, so brought these out to try, but I suspect the new ones wont be up to much, going to try the Falcons,Crosman prem, and Bisley long range gold, oh and superdomes, its ok having a pellet it performs well with, but if you cant get them
-
Stripped the trigger mate and did a polish, to be fair it was pretty good before, and seemed to be lubed properly, not filled with vaseline as seems to be the case with some, tried it with some Eley wasp 5.6 tonight at a mates, pellet on pellet and doing a super consistent 11.65ftlbs, with only 4 ftps variation over a ten shot string it seems to hate the heavier pellets, possibly because it has become pellet fussy after chopping the barrel, and losing the choke in the end, I will try a few more pellets, but at the moment the wasps seem to be the front runner, which has surprised me to be hones

Want To Be A Copper In London, Forget It If You Are English
charlie caller replied to charlie caller's topic in General Talk
Yes you are a raving loon -
Because a shotgun is not a section 1 firearm, a fac air rifle is as it fires a single projectile, so an fac is required.

Strange that, I am pretty sure most of the rest of the world would be drinking from puddles, and eating raw meat if it was not for us, but then who values your opinion you mug? -
Ok well the 99 is back together, screwcut to 11.5", it was running at just above 10ftlbs out of the box, it now has the airgun works tuning kit installed, with a Maccari spring which is slightly longer than standard, so no power washers installed, when I tested it out of the box, I tested it with Bisley super field which I thought might be a good starting point,I was wrong, it hates them and sprays them like a shotgun and is only recording about 10.4 with them, however I found some accupells and tried those, the rifle sounds different, is smoother and is recording a nice 11.2 ftlbs with only
