  1. Pretty sure people remember the Stephen Lawrence case due to the widespread police corruption and institutional racism it exposed, did something similar happen in this case in Camden you're talking about? Ahh yes st Laurence of the bus stop, how could we forget, a black kid gets murdered by white kids and we all have to remember it like fuc*ing xmas, Lee Rigby gets murdered by two mudslime ethnoids and they wont even have a memorial, and you wonder why it gets peoples backs up, you should be ashamed of yourself.
  2. Typical lefty mole, has a laugh and not even given me a like for it, tut tut moley.
  3. Tell you what..., I'll bet that black girl is harder and has a lot more bottle than most of the whining little fairies posting on this thread. I bet I have had harder shi*s than you mole.
  4. Ahh our resident lefty mole speaks, what a co*k.
  5. Just make sure the tractor dont run over you when you are lying in the ruts, DO NOT FALL ASLEEP
  6. To be honest, I think you will find its just the same spring in both calibres, thats the reason the .177 only makes 9.5-10 ftlbs out of the box, and the .22 around 11ftlbs, I dont like piston sleeves, and did not rate it in my .177 99, a tbt kit will improve things, I never thought my .177 was very snappy/twangy, the 99 has a very short stroke so lock time is dead quick, http://www.airgunforum.co.uk/forums/showthread.php/172796-HW99s-has-anyone-actually-shortened-a-barrel-on-one Here is a very good thread on the .177 this guy knows his stuff, and as you will read, actually got the .177 over
  7. fac ain't for everyone what would I gain from it? A lot of hassle for a few pot fillers....I enjoy the fieldcraft and the need for accuracy that comes with a airgun and when I do hit something it's left edible not a sack of mush and besides that this is the airgun section and the jist of the thread is what's the most efficient and practical calibre for killing sub 12 for me its .22 all the way always has been ...is that okay? Ffs! Fine, for me its .177 is that ok ffs?
  8. As above, anyone got a Weihrauch or similar quality silencer they dont need, and would be willing to part with for a reasonable price, please let me know, 1/2inch unf thread only, cheers.
  9. Nice one sounds like you enjoyed the evening, a tip, when you go asking for permission, dont mention air rifle, just ask for shooting, a lot of farmers (wrongly) think of airguns as toys, you will get a better reception (usually) if you just ask to shoot some rabbits, good luck.
  10. Doing it myself mate, apart from screw cutting ordered the airgun works kit with the rifle, I will start by stripping the trigger unit, de-greasing, polish all the sears to a mirror finish, then a full de-burr, cocking slot etc, piston and rod will get a mirror polish, piston seal will be checked and resized if needed, airgun works spring will be mirror polished on the ends, then installed with the new guide. top hat, all lubed with ultimox 226, then power set at around 11.4 ish ftlbs, wichever is the smoothest, barrel will be chopped to around 10.5-11 inches like the Imp.
  11. Yes I would be happy to shoot foxes with this air rifle We are talking about shooting a bloody rabbit with a skull the thickness of paper, so that is a silly comment, not a fox with a 12ftlbs air rifle.
  12. Maybe cos they wont let you have a firearms ticket?
  13. I have seen a fox run shot straight through the heart and lungs with a 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser, it was dead, it had no heart left, but it managed to run 60 yards or so and bury itself in a hedge, took us about half an hour to find it (lamping) I have body shot rats with a .22 rf and seen their guts strewn across the farmyard, managing to drag themselves along, it happens now and again, got fu*k all to do with calibre/power etc under those circumstances.
  14. I would not bother mate put a light coating on the piston seal edges, and leave it at that, ultimox 226 ptfe grease or quantum hot sauce grease (not oil) will work wonders mate, both available on that auction site not cheap but oh boy do they work on the piston and spring.
  15. Well it just so happens I have just ordered one in .22 Bigmac is going to love this when he sees it I am going to go to town on this one, barrel chop to 11" or so, screwcut, for a moderator, going to have a full tune, including trigger, airgun works tuning kit, this will be my day rifle now, as I have installed the new Yukon 6.5x50 night vision scope on the Cometa Lynx.
  16. They do in hw99 format mate, and that is coming from a dyed in the wool .177 lover
  17. In that case a .243 or .25-06 will be perfect, similar rounds but the .25-06 has a bit more punch and can fire a heavier bullet, either one will be great on deer/fox, happy hunting
  18. Have you had it on the chrono yet? Dont go adding loads of pre-load to try and up the power it will not work polish, de-burr, tuning kit, all add a bit, but nowhere near as much as the right kind of go faster grease in a 99, especially a .177 99, let me know if you want a link to the right lube mate
  19. No you should get the .222 it is a superior cartridge, one of the most accurate out there.
  20. A moderator cuts down the recoil anyway, but totally agree with Alsone here, .22cf recoil is not an issue, unless you were so slight/frail that you probably could not lift the damn thing to your shoulder, if the op wants a rifle to shoot foxes and the odd long range bunny(for whatever reason) any of the .22 cf will do a great job, and of course can be used to shoot Muntjac and Chinese water deer, in England and Wales, and Roe in Scotland, it really does not make a jot of difference to the fox stood 200 yards away, what you hit it with, a good expanding .224 bullet at high velocity will flatten
  21. I am sure the golden dawn will love that
