  1. Oh dear thats me fu*ked then lol.
  2. Fair play, takes a big man to admit he might have made a mistake/over reacted.
  3. What do you mean less dangerous????? Do you mean to the quarry or people? a safe shot is a safe shot regardless if its with an air rifle or a .505 Gibbs, on the subject of the Titan excellent rifles with superb engineering.
  4. pathetic excuse, thats not sport, you sick prick When you are calling fellow hunters sick pricks, just remember fella there are loads and loads of people out there, who think you are a sick prick and as bad as a peado for shooting a rabbit or pigeon, the hunting community at large arguing with each other and name calling, does any field sport no good at all and just adds fuel to the anti's fire, just because you disagree with what somebody else is doing, should not result in you giving them a tirade of foul mouthed abuse (sound familiar? ) I personally have no aspirations to shoot an El
  5. Totally agree, I bet his rifle was doing more than 12 ftlbs to bag that old bull though
  6. Im after a hw77 but an old one Tim when i get one you know that favor you owe me atvbjimmy  consider it done sir anytime, just make sure its .177 mate
  7. Vortek kit for the 77 Simon, hmmm did I mention 77s are my speciality ?????
  8. Splendid write up sir, and I am glad the PS is performing as expected, time spent finishing off these very well engineered rifles is time well spent indeed, as we mentioned at the time, if only the factory's would spend a little more time finishing things off properly.........but they wont, and why the hell AA still insist on using a steel spring guide is beyond me, AA if you are listening, change to a delrin guide, and help to stop your bloody rifles twanging, to go to all the trouble of running the piston and comp tube on synthetic bearings and then install a steel guide and top hat is like
  9. Never owned one, but I used to use one quite a bit, I really like the round, and prefer it to the .17 hmr, assuming whatever rifle you buy likes them, the Hornady 30 grn vmax are meant to be the dogs doodars, I keep pondering getting one in semi auto, get one I dont think you will be disappointed mate.
  10. Did you add the short stroke extension by any chance. I have read of issues with it because the the cocking action on the pro sport. Looking to fit the standard drop in but dubious about the SSE...thanks No I wanted to improve the rifle, not ruin it lol.
  11. That does not surprise me in the least mate.
  12. So save a load of cash,a load of hassle and fit a Vortek kit instead, or better still buy a Walther LGV/LGU apart from the titanium piston, all thats achieved really is to create internals very similar to Walther, without the rotary piston I might add
  13. Fair play mate, I will reiterate, it still wants to be bloody good for that.
  14. Around £170 from what I could find after a quick trawl around, it wants to be good if that is the genuine price.
  15. Cracking rifles these, spot on accuracy, thats a good deal for someone, rimfire barrels dont come much better than CZ.
  16. I, they were different back in the 80s, required far more pumping
  17. they can usually be adjusted at the threaded rod if the arm is dropping down, I am sure there will be tons of stuff on the net showing how to do it, they were a good accurate rifle, just a shame you cant pump them without holding the scope.
  18. And I would like one in .177 at some point.
  19. Well done, impressive shooting, just imagine if you bought ........ hmmmm lets say a .17 rem 300 yards plus, but seriously, that is a long shot for a .22 rimfire, I would like to have a shot with that Phil.
  20. Its exactly the same gun as the 99 mate except as Rez says the foresight, called the 99 here and the 50 in Europe.
  21. Most foxes if folk are honest are shot between 40-120 yards, I can count on one hand the amount I shoot each year that are what I would consider long range, I.E 250 yards +
  22. Seen plenty of them over the years, Robinhood falconers we used to call them. All the kit but can't fly the bird as she's too fat, only brought her along for the manning! Without a doubt the best falconers in the field are those that were involved in other fieldsports before they got involved with the birds. I could not agree more, you cannot teach 20 years of ferreting experience, or bushing for quarry in a couple of days course, lots of sports attract the same sort of characters (all the gear no idea types) and falconry is no different, as said lads that have come from a ferreting/runn
  23. Sounds like a professional scrounger, probably tries it on all the time, and gets loads of free stuff to sell and supplement his pension, ignore the silly old c**t.
