Here's one that was killed on the road in the late 80's. Their was suppose to be a lot of very big ferals seen over the years, in the same location as this lad was found. So interbreeding maybe?
  2. what happened to acid rain? Lol Even if you burn coal with zero emissions there's still the whole mining and transportation process to take into account. .now I don't totally buy the global warming issue as we have discussed before but I do the pollution health issues associated with fossil fuels ..id like a cleaner world for my kids " Acid Rain " split up. They reformed as " El Nino "! lol

  4. Cucumber should be removed from the edible foods list. Horrible f***ing stuff. And olives! Who ever thought it'd be a good idea to eat them?

I think one of the main causes for speculation is all this fake footage knocking around. Photo shopping, and people trying to pass a picture of a pet moggy, for a bloody panther. No wonder a lot of folk find it hard to believe any of it.

Ok I know there was a few verified cases back in the 80's. Mainly pets that we're released when laws changed. So since that time, have their been any more verified cases?

  9. told yall ! we love you other guys, it get boring arguing whats the best coyote trap every other day we like chanthere was about ge too ! which forum buy the way ? Ithink it was called SNARING AND TRAPPING SIMPLIFIED i put up 3/4 pictures up of rabbits that i had caught and a brief explanation . in the first 24hours there was about 90 likes and about twenty comments , i was asked to put more pictures up which i did and that was that ,i was removed from the forum . Removed from the forum micky! WTF was that for?
  10. I follow his youtube channel. A wealth of knowledge, and no problem sharing it to help other trappers.
  11. I think micky was referring to the bmi 116. The jaws of a 110, and the spring of a 160
  12. Are they after the moles or something that shares the run? Hmmm, well I suppose the answer to that would be, how often are voles, rats etc caught in mole traps? Especially where a weasel has been caught. Has voles etc Been caught in the same area?
  13. I suppose it makes sense, that a weasel would naturally prey on moles.
  14. Lads, I dont get all this whinging about newbie's asking questions, and the photo thing. Yea it's a little irritating when someone sticks up photo's for self praise. But it ain't the end of the world, is it! Once there's a story to go with the picture, or something beneficial to be gained from it, then it's fine in my book. If that's not the case, just ignore it. Those who stick them up will wonder why they got no likes or comments. Newbie's asking the same questions. Well that would be peffectly natural, I'd say. Help them out, or don't bother. That's up to you. Remember when t
  15. That reminded me of maybe the two biggest fox's I've ever had on the lamp. Both had big broad heads, both shot in the same field, with two years between them. I was sorry after, I didn't at least take a couple a photo's.
  16. That would be one for mounting for sure. Must be a lot less common than a colour variation mink. I've had a couple of those over the years. Of course all mink this side of the water originate from farmed stuf.
  17. Got any pics lad? Sounds very interesting
  18. You mean pure silver, like a silver mink? Surely there's a few of those mounted! Not the bluish type like mink more silver and always very big foxes Sorry lad, still a bit confused. Do you actually mean a silver, like they get in parts of the USA, which is practically black and silver, with a white tip to tail, but no visible red? Or are you talking about this, which has nothing to do with farmed fox, or throw backs?
  19. You mean pure silver, like a silver mink? Surely there's a few of those mounted!
  20. JD is the man to ask about Procull. Don't see him on here much anymore. When it comes to eating urban squirrel. If your brave enough to eat McDonald's, a squirrel shouldn't need a second thought.
  21. Anyone used the larsen mate trap? Look an easy enough design to make up in the shed.
  22. Yea I did a few mink years ago with I think alum. Done them after watching Glenn Waters video on trapping and boarding mink. As I recall, I f****d up a few of them too. Found the skinning and fleshing to be the easiest part.
  23. Seems you have to break the fur down no matter what method you use. So what's the advantage of using often expensive kits over let's say, using alum? Honest question. I've never used a kit or any other manufactured cure, on a pelt, so don't know if their better or worse, than the cheaper route.
