    For me, its all about learning, and thinking outside the box. It's about challenging your own abilities. I'd rather spend a week with Woodga, or Glenn Waters, (who are passionate about what they do), learning how to trap and snare, than to spend a week with some ( not all) the pesty's on here, (who are passionate about the money they make) carrying around a bag of snap traps, and a couple a mole traps, learning feck all. The same can be applied to this forum, by the way.

    I agree, and if the springs were weak i'd bin it. Springs are good on this trap though, so I think it's worth salvaging.

    Lads, have this trap a good number of years. When I checked it today it was sprung, empty, and almost dismantled. The pin running through the springs and vertually holds the whole trap together failed. I put the trap back together before taking this photo, but you can see where the trap jaw is away from the pin. By the way, its a Solway MK6.Anyone know how to go about repairing it? Cheers!

    Don't bother with the lure, and bait will be fine for three or four days. No need to handle the raft either, unless you have a catch, or to freshen up the bait.

    Chris, I see where your coming from, and I'm very sceptical about anything in the media these days. Seen many story's on mainstream news which was later shown to bo be twisted, or distorted. Thing is, even if this was staged, there were kids involved in the footage, and that alone rings alarm bells.
