  10. WHY ONLY TWO TRAPS PER MILE MATE ????? HAVE YOU NO ROADS AND BRIDGES WHERE YER AT ? ............. THE NORTH AMERICANS COULD TEACH A LOT OF LADS HERE A LOT ABOUT RUNNING A LINE ......... " IF " .......... FELLAS WERENT AS SNAREMAN SAYS , STUCK WITH A DONKEY MENTALITY ALL THE BEST donkey mentality... i like it the areas that these mink type projects cover is normally massive... you any idea how big the cairngorms national park is ?? i wouldnt even guess at how many miles of water course there is.... say we both had 10 cages each , you set all your in a mile of bank, a

  17. il tell you that even with a quad checking 35 cages takes a fecking long time, with no more than 2 cages per mile of water course.. there doing a similar thing here in the cairngorms, they send them all away for dna testing and look at the bitch minks inards to see how many young it has had in the past, one gobsmacking fact (as shooting times readers will know) is that two mink were caught, one on the spey and one on the iythan(sp), litter sisters, 96 km apart
  18. tryed that first off, every symbol on the screen flashs on both send and search, wether the collar is on or not... box has done just over two seasons so still reasonably new..
  19. i went to switch the box on to see what battery life was left as the first hunt days are just around the corner(was expecting it to be high), when i move the slider to either setting the screen and the orange / yellow light flashs, and i cant get any readings of battery life or collar position just a constant flashing.. is this needing to go back or is it the batterys?? some will be thinking why dont you just go get some batterys to try and rule that out, but the nearest shop that stocks them is miles away, and yes i know i should always carry a spare set, cheers in advance

  24. in the bottom left of the bottom picture, is that a bit of eaten bird??? as you probably know that at about 10 weeks the base of there tails bleed when the first few feathers push through, so this could account for some of the blood...iv got to say iv seen some badly pecked birds but never to the stage of taking out its intestines... its strange there crap is normal as yellow runny crap is normally the first sign you get of your birds are ill... ask your vet where your nearest animal dieases / health lab is, if you do find one take a live bird to them as alot of bacterium start to die as soo
