In return for the stalking i gave my mate when he was last up i got the chance of fishing the hexham bridge pool for thoose that dont know it id rate it in the top 3 pools on the whole river... I put a black and gold on the point an

  5. well the morning of sat 14th for my statement turned out to be 10 pm on sunday 15th there now away to see the farmer who witnessed the addmittion (10 30pm on a sunday evening) even though i asked them to not bother him so late or go and see the acused first to see if he would admitt it to the police before bringing the farmer into a situation he would rather avoid... but any way they said he (acused)could be charged with "breach of the peace" although im starting to convince myself i may have got my wires crossed with that one.. they said they would call and let me know what was said
  6. well i did report him, there coming around in the morning for a statement, and the wildlife crime officer said they had enough to charge him, so hears hoping.. i feel like a tit for reporting him, but if someone was to see that i wasnt looking after my call bird properly they would do the same id dare say.. i keep you all up dated

  16. alimac Take a Chill Pill!!! I'll book you up some shooting lessons with Mr Logic..then you can re write that book you read about 60-70 yard .22LR distance. He is a very good shot (but don't tell him I said so). When you have finished your lessons with him I'll give you the advanced course! very good, but thats me on a full dose of chill pills.. every one is entitled to there opinions, mr logic, your self and i included..
  17. il eat my words if any of you can find in litrature that states a .22is designed to shot at these stupid distances, yes a .17 hmr (which the rifle and bullets are designed to shoot at these greater distances) pound to a penny it states 60 to 70 yards max for a .22 ... all your doing is encouraging new comers to the sport to get the " well if he can do it so can i" senario.... at no point did i say the ballistics of a .22 are not capable of killing at 100 plus,or that with the right gear and shooter that is was impossible, just that its not designed to shoot so far... il match any on
  18. before you say it , yes theres always one.... but shooting out above yards at live quarry with a .22 is not on, NO one can be sure of a hit never mind a clean kill, if you want to shoot things at these distances, buy a bigger rifle...
  19. dont usually post the good old welcomes, but as you put a bit of effort in to your introduction :welcomeani:
  20. the mods need to be on your / there certificate , even if you bought the rifle pre threaded..
