firstly id like to say cheers to zippo for the time out he took to check things out for me.. Got down last night and caught up with a few old friends, i met >>>> at 5.45 this morning and off we went, we started fishing the pool below the weir but it was running to fast for the fly and you cant spin in that particular pool ( and no i couldnt use your swetcorn method before you say anything mackem) i persivered and fished it through twice just because, you know how it is.. we moved of to try the next pool down, i decided to spin a condom through this pool, as a geordie typin

Got to disagrea there mate,ducks much prefer barley than wheat and will leave a wheat fed pond to visit a barley fed pond every time.Stick to barley mate...P@G well peg id agree that they prefere barley , but disagree that if you feed it with wheat you will see noticeably less ducks flighting in to feed, compared to numbers coming in when being fed barley the season [bANNED TEXT]... but you have me thinking now, as soon as the barley is cut im going to do some playing about with feed types on different ponds (that are all being fed wheat at the moment) and see which ponds draw ducks f -

well done a good write up took a mate out onto a small splash that id be feeding for a few days to see if he could bag his first duck, thought id better leave the main ponds for the boss.. 3 mallard came in he killed with his first two and missed the 3rd, job accomplished i gave him another 5 minutes in which he managed another mallard.. cover still really thick the poor cocker struggled, but found all 3... left the pond well before dark... he was buzzing

eamon, i knew some fecker would start, and as it happens it was you ....if you would be so kind go back to the original post that started this thread, it states WORKING DOGS not just working terriers, yes it may be in the terrier section but i answered to the the question that was written. lets hope your season starts soon so you can vent your frustrations out on your shovel instead of your key board just to add you can feck the best bred terrier in the world up if you dont bring it up well showing it differents stuff at different ages, so yes in my opinion there is still a way a owne

sorry, yes they were live.... just spoke to the lad again, all of it as it turns out was over 2 mis fired shells in with a few hundred emptys and broken clays etc in a box, they (the law) accepted it must have been a mistake and just came around to slap there wrists.. lucky

wilf has two good points in his posts, id agree that the percentages on the horses would be similar to what dogs would be, yes a well bred dog will improve you chances of ending up with a world beater, but im a believer that its alot (but not all) to do with you get out what you put in..

just had a call from a mate who i run the dogs with, he was saying that someone he works with had put a load of there shot gun cartridges in a skip, which when it was tipped out caused the tip to panic and shut the place down and called the police... there on the way out to his work now... foolish foolish boy il let you know the out come
