Do pigeon traps work on Woodies ?

made a big walk in ladder trap last year for the jackdaws , only problem is i didnt make the gaps small enough so all the jacks bar a few got out.... but it was leathal for woodies after you had fed it up with wheat for a few days.. they went in with less fuss than the jacks did, once the first one was in the rest couldnt get in quick enough -
nice to combine sport with pest control... she must have dropped well late, what size were the cubs ?/

drill 2 holes in the lip of the base and 2 matching holes in the bottom lip of the lid , piece of wire and a quick twist and problem solved

hope you both had a good time only kidding rag...... cant quite work out how either of you managed to shoot that many did you hide the vixens under the motor to stop the abuse from the "cruel b*****d bragade" by the sounds of it tecks going to be to tired to do any thing come feb.. speak soon

beleieve me it can be done, but if there only doing it when they can tell your occupied with something else then your not far away from being able to do it... try putting it away until you know you can give it your 100% attention, and keep on to of them when you let them out, as has been said, give them a inch and they WILL take a mile.... and remember a dog needs treated like a dog to get it to respect the pack leader.. please dont take what iv said personally as its just my opinion

i find in general that people have the most problems recalling a terrier compared to most other dogs. in my opinion its mostly down to the early stages of training or should i say lack of it ( im not saying its the case with you pig nut, just a general observation ) a terriers drive is no stronger than any other working dog and is no less able to be taught to stay at heal or return on command, i think alot more time is spent on the recall with other breeds like , lurchers, spanials, labs etc etc..

im sure there will be something there that gets classed as theft there, but id dare say 95 % of hill stalkers would tell you to help your self , or just give you some of the stack that they always have hidden away.... but having said that you would still be on the estate until they were hidden in your motor so the chances of being rumbbled are small, id dare bet there are hundreds of antlers picked and taken by ramblers every year..

still no thread on this fight so i thought id get it started.... i think hatton will win but will have to fight close in, the other guy looks like he will have some reach advantage over ricky, they were saying that hatton making the weight didnt happen as easy as they expected.. hatton in the 5 th or 6th

not sure about the next clip there though, 5 terriers entering at the same time in the same hole. ( and all for a fox cub )

thats why im a keeper and your not.... cos it aint either a fox or mink, its a otter holt, the stones are where the mink regularly hold up.. o and just for the record foxs live in dens and drains not holts..
